Against travelling

Post by duszek »

Travelling is a hardship that I refuse to endure.

Churchill said "no sports", one could just as well say "no travels".

Do I risk to become a dumb-bell in the long run if I refuse to travel ?

Hiking and walking long distances in the area is fine, by the way.

From the Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu:

Without going outside, you may know the whole world.
Without looking through the window, you may see the ways of heaven.
The farther you go, the less you know.

Thus the sage knows without travelling;
He sees without looking;
He works without doing. (Ch. 47)
