I own myself, because:
I can be owned, as I am a thing in and of itself and such a thing is capable of being had,
No one else owns me, as I have free will.
self-ownership
Re: self-ownership
I love these polls.
There is always a third missing option:
3. The poll is meaningless.
How about I own myself because; I am fully determined by the laws of cause and effect.

Re: self-ownership
Point taken, and it’s okay as far as it goes, but I feel that the implication is that I am owned by the laws of physics.
Perhaps I should have stated—nearly the same as you—that I own myself because I have free will as constrained by the laws of cause and effect.
After all, I can choose to run full speed at a brick wall, but I will not sail through it no matter what I choose. Still, it wasn’t physics that guided my unrealistic choice.
