That's interesting. Good writing, economical. We talk like that sometimes when getting folksy and using words like yonder. I kinda figured he was eatin' a squirrel cause his chewing sounded kinda juicy and hot off the spit, and curious squirrels were easy targets up in the trees. Could have been a rabbit. When hiking they would rest for a spell and curious critters may have come for a look and got shot.

The delivery shows the power of simple words and phrasing.

Those who did read in the 19th century still spoke simply and plainly, but with a lot more words. See the next posting.

Obviously the old trapper stinks to high heaven. You can smell him from the reactions of the woman sitting so close to him.

Continuing the scene, the killer then speaks to her predicament with a sad song. He sings after watching her from our viewpoint.

And give to each of them
Bunches of roses
That they may not smell me
As they go along

I know how John feels man. I go through this every time I join a philosophy forum

All I ever wanted was a small cottage where I would have a little garden and tend to it. But no.

Ferris and Cameron ran that shit to get Sloan out of school for the day bro. We used to skip school but this was just masterminded genius.

Ah but in the end, Charlie is the real hero becuz without his great wisdom and philosophical guidance, Ferris's sister wouldn't have lost the resentment and envy she felt toward Ferris and therefore wouldn't have covered for him at the very end (when the principal busts em at the back door).

Lol I forgot about Tarantino's Django Unchained and am watching it now. It's excellent so far. He's using Waltz again... this time he's a bounty hunter who's bought whatshisname to help him hunt down three fugitives.

KKK scene.

I just saw the trailer for Joe Bell and it looked really good so imma watch it. I'll probably cry tho. Based on a true story about how a dad's son commits suicide for being bullied becuz he's gay and the dad walks across the country to bring social awareness, etc. And when he's walkin the ghost of his son appears and walks with him and they do a whole bunch of bonding and stuff.

U guys remember it? Bro that was THE very first motion picture pornography I ever saw and I remember exactly when and where I saw it. Me, my mom, my neighbor Cedric, his impossibly hot sister and their mom all went to Myrtle Beach for some special occasion, can't remember exactly. It came on one night in the hotel room that me and Cedric and his sister were in. The moms were in the one beside us. Anyway I remember being absolutely blown away by how awesome that movie was. That sex scene when she gets it on with the taxi driver in his apartment while that Journey song played. That shit is permanently imprinted in my brain.
