"She acts like a cat."commonsense wrote: ↑Thu Feb 13, 2020 8:45 pmI know what you mean, Eodnhoj, but I just can’t think of anything that shares a bond. Could you help me out with a few examples?
"She" and "cat" share the same qualities of "smoothness", "aloofness/independence", "predatorial", etc.
Two qualities, "she" and "cat", share common qualities that connect seemingly seperate phenomena. There is always a middle quality.

And that degree determines its morality. Smoking 1 cigarette a day is relatively harmless, 1 pack a day has a different degree of harm.
Good and evil exist through degrees as they are statements of relation.
Re: Good and Evil
Baloney every once in a while is harmless, to much is harmful .

You're completely opaque here. Just say what you mean. No passive-voice, make the verbs and nouns agree, and be specific. Maybe you want to use an example. But do something, because you're making no sense at all.
All phenomenon, including analogies, exist as part of a continuum of phenomenon.
This continuum is the change of one phenomenon into another.
All phenomenon, including analogies, lead to further phenomenon.
All phenomenon exist as parts of a continuum because one phenomenon changes into another.
This includes analogies. Analogies exist as part of this continuum. Why? Because phenomenon are mental, physical and emotional as different dimensions of the same thing. This "same thing" is "being" itself.
But now you’ve gone and pushed me off the rails. If this continuum is the change of one phenomenon into another, please take me through the steps included in the change.
Use the phenomena of dog and cat or a pairing of your choosing.
One phenomenon leads to another, each phenomenon is a center point to a new phenomenon.

Thanks for making your points clearer. I’m guessing that Hank, Manny and The Man will appreciate the clarity, too.

No problem, sometimes I over complicate certain statements.commonsense wrote: ↑Thu Feb 13, 2020 11:53 pm Thanks for making your points clearer. I’m guessing that Hank, Manny and The Man will appreciate the clarity, too.
