Wholeness

Post by Dontaskme » Fri Jul 21, 2017 8:54 am

Wholeness comes to know itself by dividing.

The mind is a dividing tool of wholeness dividing itself, secretly hidden within it's totality of being appearing as other.

Who you are is NOT A THING - NO THING and simultaneously EVERYTHING

You can't find NOT A THING....Everything is appearing out of NOT A THING

Everything is not-a-thing appearing as everything.

So everything is appearing from itself as everything and not-a thing.

There is nothing to attach to.

This is so close there is no room to make an approach. Tag, you're IT

What is done to other is done only to yourself.

This is love.

Love comes from the silent heart of pure knowing your true self which is always present and can never leave you.

If God divided Himself, would he become two gods or no God at all?

God is a tacit transcendental being....in the world but not of it....the unknown known.

The knower and the known exist in the same moment as one.

To know one is to know other, but they are the same one knower knowing itself ...as known in the exact same moment one with the knowing.

Even when knowing is absent ..prior to the appearance of 'mental activity' .....you are..... so it appears there are two of you, one unknown and the other known...but this is an illusory split ...something the mind does.

Can you see, you have just made a ''truth claim''...But, it's no good just making a 'truth claim' without supporting that 'truth claim' with some kind of empirical evidence

I asked S57 to back up the truth claim of knowing that the perceiver can indeed be perceived, which was met with no answer or reply to support the yes answer to the question... which is not surprising since this is very common when trying to get people to see beyond their illusory identity to what is actually real.

I too have made a truth claim on this thread....which is ...there is no one to claim an individual identity...there is only the totality of self which is love that can never leave you...nothing can leave you, because there is only you.... the identified one leaves, it comes and goes....but the real you is always present..

Here is some more evidence in this little box for you to read....
I cannot say who or what I am.

What can be said without doubt?

... Here now is seeing, smelling, feeling, tasting, hearing and knowing...

Collectively called 'consciousness'.

This 'consciousness' is not seen, smelled, felt, tasted, heard or known... yet there is no argument (and no one to argue with) about this... it is simply 'self evident'.

To ask if this is so for 'you', is to presume some 'other' consciousness... of which there is no consciousness here and now.

Here now there is only this consciousness, and no other.

That which is 'seen, smelled, felt, tasted, heard and known' is inseparable from this consciousness... as dream images are inseparable from 'the dreamer'.

And, as in a dream, all images (all apparent things sensed) are not conscious, nor are they 'consciousness'. They are simply content.

As in a dream, all things sensed have no absolute shape or size, they are neither near nor far in relation to the 'dreamer'.

The content appears to change, though consciousness does not.
In other words, you are the dreamer and the character in the dream you are dreaming simultaneously - self-evident.
It's experiential evidence of being aware you are aware. Anyone can discover this for themself.

Was that evidence good enough for you ?

.

Hope this clears up any confusion...but knowing you Harbal, it probably doesn't and never will.

And just so you know Harbal...any one can be aware of a flower or any thing for that matter.

But who can be aware of the awareness that is being aware of the flower? Hmm!

When that is recognised, the separate identity falls away into that boundless empty awareness in which all things appear and disappear.

You haven't presented anything that remotely resembles evidence of anything, except evidence of your unusual state of mind.

Yes any body can...and that will become the evidence when that is realised.

What is realised...>

The character in the dream is not the one aware, the aware one is the dreamer of the dream character.

The dream character is the identified one which believes it is the one aware, never knowing that it is being dreamt by awareness...until it wakes-up and realised the dream character wasn't real...only the one dreamer is real...

The dreamer is timeless eternity in which infinite finite dreams make their appearance, come and go ..known as space-time cause and effect duality.

when the heart and mind work together in harmony, then you have wholeness. when what you love is just, then you have peace. I don't see any need to complexicate it.

In what is... is also what isn't. This is the wonder of wholeness because it appears as both simultaneously. Everything that is something is also already no thing /not two...empty fullness.
