I read Anarchy, State and Utopia by Nozik a few years ago. I am not at all for some minimal state (being born of working class), but you got to admit that liberalism is an important ingredient in every successful state. And Nozick did both argue well for something like Neo-liberalism and did also provide an enjoyable well-written narrative.

I'm looking for a more recent book by a Liberal Philosopher, to give more up-to-date views on Liberalism. Someone that also provides enjoyable prose. I read after my daytime work.

Sandel, maybe? His lectures on political philosophy are both interesting and pleasant. I think I heard he writes liberal political philosophy? Any good books there?
