I have no record of these ruminations. Shall I keep some of them the next time and quote them ?

Sometimes I do the same with the "Foundations of Law". I read a case illustrating a legal point and then talk about it in my mind.

It can start with: Was haben die Typen gemacht ? Also wirklich, auf die Idee wäre ich nicht gekommen. So ein Unsinn ...

= what did the blokes do ? Really, what an idea, such a nonsense ...

The comments are full of emotional language, to put some colour into them.
Thanks, duszek, for further explanation. I would love a transcript of your colourful ruminations :)

Perhaps I will share mine re that Kierkegaard person I have trouble with.
But another place, another time...

Oh yes, I will provide some, to illustrate the point I make, sure.

It means that I will have to sit up and put them down on a piece of paper ... :D

So why on Earth did you resurrect this ??

You did not say much.

No subject, no verb, no object or predicate or modifiers.

It could have been written by a public high school miscreant.

So you would have something to do by replying.

Oh, no, Don't thank me. It's a charitable service I like to perform once in a while.

In the future it would be better if you said something meaningful in your posts.

Once you have an idea in your head, try verbalizing it by forming a complete sentence with a subject, verb, object, predicate, and modifiers.

If you feel like making several sentences, then try using the syllogism format of Aristotle of A=B, B=C, therefore A=C.

If it goes longer than 3 sentences then make sure you remember intro, body, and conclusion.

Pretty soon then you will be writing like someone who went to private schools rather than public.

Good luck.

:)

Yeah, I'll pass.
Too much work huh? That's all most kids learn in public schools -- laziness.

Not exactly. But if the quality of your submission were to improve that would benefit everybody.

Then there would be less useless old thread resurrections.
