the teacher in question teaches what he is required to by the curriculum and more

so no one can reasonably accuse him of not doing his job

should he just stay silent when he is taking a break from teaching math

He has no right to abuse his position. Were the students free to walk out of the class? They should have been. His job is to teach math, not his personl opinion of history.

You also never answered the question I asked earlier: What point was he trying to make? Are we to do something now because of what happened in the past? Are we to hate Americans? What was the point?

You said he spent the whole lesson giving you his opinion on politics and history. That's just wrong. He has no right to take a break from maths in a maths class. I've never heard of or experienced such a thing. Perhaps an off topic comment occasionally, but a whole lesson? No way.

In Philosophical terms this is called a fallacy of false comparison.
The maths teacher was talking about TAXATION. Taxation is a mathematical subject, and it is his duty to get students to think about the applications of maths in society.
Beyond that, talking about the roots of the nation are of interest to all teachers and students.
It's not a fallacy of a false comparison. It's a real issue, since you as a teacher believe you can teach he children whatever you want. That since they are young, and they are forced to listen to you, ad will feel compelled to share your views since you have power over them, you believe that you can abuse your power to create little "intellectual" juniors who share your views. If every teacher believes that they are entitled to do the same, surely, someof those teachers will teach such tings as I mentioned. Therefore, it is you who has committed the logical fallacy, not me.

Are you really a teacher? Given your other comments here, do you teach Jew-hating 101? Surely, you don't teach any real academic subject worth learning. You believe that the majority of bankers are Jews? And that they lobby to start wars? What an idiot you are. Most bankers are not Jews, and bankers cannot start wars, and they would not make profits doing so anyway. Is this the type of crap you teach your students? If so, you should be fired. Maybe you can tel us where you teach at so we can make sure that people there are aware of your idiotic, childish views? Do you have the guts to do that?
You are getting hysterical.
I don't hate jews.
The majority of people in control of international finance are actually jewish: fact.
Children are able to decide for themselves. But they do need a range of ideas from which to choose. I have never mentioned to ANY child that most international financiers are jewish. I have told them some of the horrors of the holocaust.
Maybe you think I should not tell them that.
But if you think that telling them about the holocaust is the right thing to do- you are already making a value judgement.
But everything I say is based on an opinion. If I were to remain silent then I would have nothing to teach at all.

Tell me then - should I not tell them about the holocaust?

As a human being he has the right to express an opinion, as do you.
The only difference is that you are wrong.

ok let me explain this again

he teaches the curriculum - better than vast majority of teachers do - and then goes beyond it

he does it in less time than is allocated for it

i think that he does so well not despite frequent digressions about how stupid the school board is

or how stupid the republicans or the democrats are

or how people should at least learn what marxism is before using it as a label

or that time his ukranian grandmother was going to slaughter a pig but the pig escaped and trampled the rose bushes

or the superiority of russian and texan cooking over new england cooking

but because of them

what do you think he should be doing instead of his digressions?

He's trying to get laid. He thinks someone will at least give him a pitty-fuck for being a washed-up math teacher who is so misunderstood. You aren't falling for it, are you?

If any student thinks the USA was founded on fraud, he should implore his parents to get him out of the crappy socialist school he is attending.

But that would all depend on the version of the myth of founding.
Which particular version are you balling about?

Which (non-fraudulent) foundation do you believe in?
Or better still which fraudulent one? As all revolutions are the result of treachery, by definition. Be it the Russia Revolution or the American one.

King Arthur and the round table seems rather ridiculous for the Brits to believe in. The Brits invaded Ireland how many times? How many times did it take before the Brits finally decided to slaughter off how many Irish and treat them as second class citizens on their own island? The Brits had to invade India, China, in fact, any nation that it felt was ripe for plundering, one could find the Brits, who believe in King Arthur, justice for all, and a fucking round table to sit at. Talk about an asswipe myth.

It was no myth that Americans sent the British packing.

They have flat-chested royalty. Their princess would never make it as a hooter's gal.
