"Republicans" Bills on CRT: Details??

Post by Veritas Aequitas »

I believe there is too much generalization and condemnation of "Republicans" Bills on Critical Race Theory [CRT], due to the critics' ignorance and confirmation bias.

The CRTists and their apologists will hastily countered [in their very ignorance] these 'Republican' Bills are about stopping the learning of the FACTS of racism and slavery within American History in general with its warts and all.

I believe all those who intend to critic or condemned the Bills should read the actual Bill passed and deliberate on their actual details.

I am trying to get a copy of the Bill[s] so that I can comment based on facts rather than opinions or hearsays by the CRTists and their apologists.
Anyone got a link to the actual Bill[s].

This is what I gathered so far,
https://www.dallasnews.com/news/educati ... ic-groups/

1. While the legislation was labeled an “anti-critical race theory” bill, it doesn’t actually contain those words.
Instead, it includes a long list of subjects and ideas that must — or must not — be taught.

2. Within social studies classrooms, teachers can’t teach a variety of ideas, including that a person is inherently racist, sexist or oppressive, either consciously or unconsciously.

3 School districts are also prohibited from requiring training that presents any form of race or sex stereotyping or blame on the basis of race or sex.
I don't want to be too conclusive until I have read the actual Bill[s].

Here is what I found in relation to the above, i.e. the Bill as discussed with editings;

https://capitol.texas.gov/tlodocs/871/b ... navpanes=0
see Section 3.

Anyone got an idea where I can find a copy of the Final Bill.

Here's the New Hampshire's Bill.

http://gencourt.state.nh.us/bill_status ... ml&sy=2021

One will note in both the Texas and New Hampshire Bill there is no ban on the teaching of America's past history on slavery and racism OBJECTIVELY.
The ban specified in the Bills are on subjective and ideological elements of CRT embedded or disguised with the historical facts.
If there is to be any discussion, arguments from both sides must be presented.

Texas Pushes to Obscure the State’s History of Slavery and Racism
Texas is awash in bills aimed at fending off critical examinations of the state’s past.

Here is how the above lies are debunked.
Debunking the LIES the New York Times is telling about the critical race theory state bills.
