So there is nothing in any part of the Bible that you believe a human could not have written.
I did not say anything of the kind. I said you should decide for yourself. It's your soul. Where it goes is up to you.

But my advice: don't fool around. This isn't about winning or losing an argument on a website. There's far more than that at stake.

Well, I don't know quite where to begin with something so far from sensible, so far from what you could possibly know, and so far from the truth.
Really?
Yep, really.

So, you cannot distinguish man from his representations of god? Your need to uphold belief in god requires being blinded to such honest questioning?

I did not say anything of the kind.
So where is this divinely inspired passage?

Then why ask Henry Quirk this:
Immanuel Can wrote: Sat Apr 17, 2021 5:13 pmBecause really, what do we "own"? We didn't bring ourselves here, we came with nothing, and we're going out without a stitch.
If God owns our soul, why does he treat so many like empty crisp bags?

He doesn't.

We do that.

So questioning about god and man's role in creating interpretations is not honest?

No. You do. People are far more precious than you or your God believe.

Prove that. Let's see how you know.

Your belief is that mankind is a cosmic mistake, a combination of nothing but time and chance, I'm guessing. Explain what makes this accident, this mere product of time and chance, "precious."

No, that's fine. But those who question in an insulting or disingenuous way get nothing. That's how it's supposed to be.

How many human souls meet God's standards?

You need to answer my challenge, and I'll happily answer your question.

My questions are genuine. If you think there's any "tone" you don't like, perhaps it's a response to the games you play -- but that should not stop you from answering the questions.

By my reckoning, very few people get past the Pearly Gates, even in 'Christian' countries. Therefore, the majority of human souls end up discarded. Is that not true?

Yess...yess...you have a long record of polite, intelligent, fair-minded conversation, totally free from misrepresentation and abuse. And I am an unworthy slug. :D I have no right even to speak with such as you. You're too good for me.

Off you go, then.
