Is Biden Really a Weak President?

How should society be organised, if at all?

Is Biden Really a Weak President?

Post by Gary Childress »

Do you believe Biden is a "weak" president with respect to our foreign policy toward China? And if so, Why do you feel that way? What could his administration do differently with respect to China's threats against Taiwan?

It's none of Amurica's business. It really does need to stop shoving its big, fat snout into the business of other countries. It certainly has no room to criticise any country.

I sort of doubt that Biden would do anything if China invades Taiwan. There's really nothing that can be sensibly done by anyone at this point, I don't think. However, I do believe that China is in the wrong to threaten Taiwan.

But my thought is that if Biden can keep from going to war with China if they invade Taiwan, then he's doing a good job.

Isn't it a bit early to start making broad assessments of his presidency? He's barely been in office a couple months.

Well, here's what we know.

China has Hong Kong, and it isn't good. They have the Uighurs, and it really isn't good. They now own much of Africa, and that's concerning. They provided the world with a virus that has crippled everybody else's economy, and that's really, really not good. They're threatening Taiwan, and that doesn't sound great either.

Nobody wants a war.

What do we want?

We're not goin' to war with China.

Quite clearly: that slaver state can piss on the world repeatedly and no one will lift a finger.

We'll stomp our lil feet, shout no fair!, make noises about sanctions, mutter about necessary action, but, at the end of the day, we'll do nuthin'.

What we ought to do...

*End all economic relations.

It's pure madness for a supposedly free nation to trade with a slaver state.

*Urge our allies to end all economic relations.

Again: It's pure madness for supposedly free nations to trade with a slaver state.

Clear, clear, moral.

So, why ain't we cuttin' the slavers off?

Why, instead, are we dickin' around, toein' the dirt, doin' nuthin'?

The answer is as obvious as Durante's schnooze.
