2. you are just a dick and like to play troll, suspect i'm correct, but more troll than man, like to disparage me when you know i'm probably right.

- i've not bothered to check your link, depending upon your reply as to if you are 1 or 2 above, i may check it.

peace.

You can think of me as you like.
I don't know you well enough to know your character. I did get snarky (I show up here after a few beers) - like talking about "stuff" with others with minds after a few beers. without beers i'm fine just sitting around "pondering" and have no wish to talk with others. but its now the weekend, and i'v had 4 of my 6 beers and in the mood to talk.

If i insulted you in my prior post i apologize, I don't dicks - even if its me! I've not reviewed my prior post, but i've been a dick before so might have been last wek via the prior post.

You seem a reasonable person with a solid mind and sense from reading your prior posts so, in the spirit of peace and contrition i welcome discussion.

about anything - even fashion! - not my thing, but whatever - we all have our interests. lol

FlashDangerpants wrote: Sat Mar 21, 2020 4:26 am All you Bernie Bros
I'm not a Bernie Bro (yes there are too many of then - as there is Waren/Hillary Madams -there will always be cult followers. I'm not a cultist, nor a Bernie Bro - of the field offered my first choice was in fact Bill Deblazio (thought he did a good first 2 debates last year - sadly i dropped out eons ago), That left me with 2 i liked Mayor Pete and Bernie. I prefer Bernie over the good mayor, but would like either...............now of course all three our out of it and we;ve got Biden (who as i said i've like since the 80's - i just to not think he is now able to be president. His mental state is just too appearent to fool myself at this point.

as i said many times before politically i sit between Bernie and Biden - if Biden of today was Biden of 5 or 10 yrs ago, I'd be happy to vote for him and think he'd make a good prez.

but now knowing that tRump lack the ability - as Biden does now - i'll just choose the lesser of two unworthy and vote for Biden (like i did Billary in 2016) - and expect/assume 4 (40?) more yrs of President Rump.
FlashDangerpants wrote: Sat Mar 21, 2020 4:26 am with your talk of "the machine" think that Bernie could only lose the nomination because of some conspiracy. That's bullshit,

That is the Bernie Bro argument, and I agree its Bullshit - Sanders lost in 16 because though it was close, the voters chose Billary over him.

Same with Biden.

per the voters there is no conspiracy, no votes were changed. folks just liked Biden as a known person via being Obama (who i always liked and glad he beat Billary in 08) and feared the alternative they did not know/or thought they knew enough (a commie).

----------

BUT the Machine does exist - DNC/MSNBC esp (CNN is a little better) - where when Sanders is wining (last month) - and MSNBC anchors need smelling salts/Matthews talks about being lined up and shot in times square by president Sanders..................WTF? its clear that such comments (even if Matthews thought that) - actually stating that (and he's not alone - the list is near endless chuck Todd/Joy Reid (who i used to like)/etc...........

and per the DNC - Tom Perez "ordering" a half to vote counts when it looked like Sanders might overtake Pete (to that State's credit they ignored Perez's "order" - and the head of that state's caucus fell on his sword and fired himself (not for diss-obeying Perez, but for over the general clusterfuck of that state's caucus.) as he should have - buck stops and such.

...............

where Bernie Bros and I differ is that they think the Machine tanked Sanders, whereas i think they enabled the voters to not vote for him - by (the above MSNBC anchor rants) and the general media blackout of Sanders - just like in 2016.

The machine does exist Sir, and lest play alternative universe, where that machine loves Bernie: ok?

Had MSNBC/DNC promoted Bernie is the best choice from Feb to today (rather than what they did - demonize the man/media blackout)....today we would have Biden and Sanders 50/50.................Biden has built in support via him being VP under Obama (so ya that makes him strong enough to not have a pro-machine Sanders influence enough to cancil it out - but it would have cut it in half - and so today we'd have 50/50)

per Bernie: his self procliamed Socialism (and that he is not a Democrat - he registered as to be included in the primaries both time but we all know he is not a Democrat - per actually party affilliation................hurts him gravely per the electorate in the former (i.e. per the voter "socialism is bad/Cuba - rather than Denmark) per the latter - the Machine - he ain't a Democrat (not a party player), so tank him.

FlashDangerpants wrote: Sat Mar 21, 2020 4:26 am two facts explain exactly why Bernie was always destined to come second in the nomination, and would automatically be beaten by whoever was left.
1. Bernie comes with a baked in 30% of the national primary vote among Democrats.
2. Bernie does nothing to win new voters or build coalitions, or even to persuade anyone that doesn't already agree with him. So as every candidate dropped out, none of their voters switched to Bernie.
point one is true - as it is for Warren types - the backed in progressives.

point two is false, Sanders has had a ground game for 5 yrs now and made great inroads toward Latinos (who now support him 3/4 over other candidates) Bernie has reached out! and continues to do so. but "The Machine" has been fighting his narative for the last 5 yrs, partially effective.
sadly.

Bernie lost because in spite of his reaching out to Latinos and poorish smucks like myself, is because the hostility of the machine (which does exist!) blunts he expansion.

ALSO Bernie shoots himself in his own foot by claiming he is a Socialist (and it looks like he really does not understand the negatvie connotation that label has with the American People (I know the difference bet Denmark and Cuba - but it looks like most Americans don't)

Which has more power?

the machine against him

or him shooting his feet off

not sure - but both serve toward the same goal, Sanders losing again.

Bernie must be hunkered down.

“Who is the one person who knows better than anyone that Joe Biden's mental faculties are in serious decline?
“Answer: Jill Biden

“Who is the one person with the power to make Joe Biden retire from politics?
“Answer: Jill Biden”

Why?

This link theorizes she is ambitious and inspired by tales of Edith Wilson (Woodrow Wilson’s wife.)

yet here we are 3 months later (3rd party need for valid democracy, walling off via law to prevent 3rd/4th parties today -amercia = PRI via Mxico, "two" (one) party fix has been in for the last 75 yrs.

so we are left with a thug with a lesser mental decline (so mentally with it enough, but not characterwise so), and vise versa.

so vote Demecon/ Replicrat.........both suck but i will hole my nose and vote for the mentally unfit (over the character unfit) Bidon...............though if Amash gets off his ass as a new Libertarian, I might vote for him out of priciple (voting for who i like over the lesser of tow evil unfits - i live in Oklahoma so voting for Amash (assuming he get off his ass and runs on the ballot as a Liberartian) - I can vote for (Trump wins my state regardless of if i "Waste" my vote for Amash or mickey mouse.

That's good. In the US 'senile' equates to 'genius'.

Both Trump and Biden display signs of senility. Only one of the two is cold-hearted and uncouth.
