Guess y'all couldn’t find any Population Bomb predications that came true.
As I stated, my post was concerning climate change.
Do you think climate change is a hoax, Walker?
I'm not Walker, Lacey. Technically it's not climate change, but global warming where the concern is and I say it's overblown. Sea level has risen slightly over 8 inches over the past 129 years or about an inch every 16 years. We have enough time to adjust, but my fear is we may be overreacting which could cause more damage and death. How much we really know remains to be seen.

This link I provided a few posts ago, addresses a lot of the ideas people have. It seems pretty comprehensive, and provides a lot of supporting information.
So, I'm wondering, if this is not enough information, what would be? What would be convincing?
The city I live near is already planning for a huge influx of people due to the migration that is expected from climate change or global warming or whatever you want to call it. That seems kind of telling. There are signs all around... I don't know how (or how long) we can claim it's not that big of a deal. I'm wondering when the insurance companies are going to collapse from being unable to pay all of the claims from the increase of devastating weather events. Seems to me the "new norm" is steadily and rapidly intensifying.

Nothing can ever be for such people.
The mindset is a variant of the phenomenon that includes Flat Earthism and Moon landing conspiracy theories. Basically a rebellion against science per se, usually with a religious basis, so no scientific evidence can be treated as valid unless it suits the tribal allegiences.

Are you aware that over 100 years ago, flooding occurred in China that killed over 900,000 people? There's still much we don't know. By trying to control the sea level (which is what we should be focused on), we may overshoot and cause even more damage and death. Isn't it true that news comes out almost daily that paints a different picture as to how much danger we're really in from global warming? You can talk about greenhouse gases, but my focus is on sea level which is the most important indicator the shape the planet is in.

That's what I'm guessing... I just want to challenge someone to admit it.
Volumes of information are ignored if they challenge (or don't fit into) people's stories.
Often they can't admit it and change the subject. Other denialists claim that it doesn't matter because the Apocalypse is God's will and humans cannot change anything - ushers of the Apocalypse.

Oh my. The assumption-affirmation fits.
What continually "fits" is the ongoing confirmation of you being a cowardly ass who makes idiotic assertions and who does not honestly answer questions that are put to you in response.
