I do not see where your confidence comes from given that men themselves decided to create the law of the sea because they did not trust that men would do the right thing without it.

Laws are meant to protect the banks. In the Beginning Yahweh made the Banks to ensure financial Dominance of humanity. The Old Law was made to protect the banks, the gold, and the fake money.

Ok. Not that I believe a Yahweh ever existed.

I can see where the early kings would have wanted to protect their wealth, after all, in hard times, the king would have wanted to sustain his people and his hold on power.

The term bread was coined to show how without that wealth, bread could not be bought and sold.

The circulation of that wealth is what gives it it's value added,which shows it's usefulness.
