Lawyers Should Not Be on the US Supreme Court

Post by bobevenson »

Lawyers are responsible for all the decisions leading up to the US Supreme Court. The last thing we need are more lawyers making the ultimate decisions. It doesn't take a law degree to understand the US Constitution.

If anything, lawyers are known for logical thinking and wouldn't it be true that a lawyer would more readily understand another lawyer? Do you have any proof that our country has fared poorly under lawyers?

Please, remember the OJ Simpson trial? "If the glove doesn't fit, you must acquit!"

Only a lawyer could come up with a great line like that (credit both Johnny Cochrane and F. Lee Bailey).

Your so-called great line does not belong in a court of law in front of a jury.

Be thankful we have them. And I'm sure you would go running to one if you were having certain problems (note that a certain class do fight for your freedom to shoot off your mouth).

Sounds like you hate British lawyers. Did you have any dealings with them? What makes British lawyers particularly bad?

Have you met all the lawyers? How do you know this?

Not acceptable proof in a court of law nor by scientists.
