U.S. Gun Laws That Need to be Abolished
At the federal, state and local level, laws say convicted felons are not allowed to own guns. They should, in fact, have the same constitutional rights as any American. There is absolutely no defensible argument against it, and if anybody cares to take me on, I'm waiting for you.

I'm shocked. That leaves a substantial portion of the population (including you) unable to legally own as many guns as they want to. That's UNCONSTITUTIONAL! Every single American should be issued with a Govt.-endorsed 'arms pass' at birth, which lasts for their life-time, enabling every citizen to purchase as many guns, grenades, automatic weapons, rocket-launchers, flame-throwers, tanks....in fact anything that is likely to be able to kill people, as they want to, and to be able to take them anywhere, including schools, kindergartens, hospitals, clinics, police stations, courtrooms......without having their FREEDOMS violated by stinking commies and socialists!

From the perspective of a biologist this is an excellent suggestion because it would enhance the quality of the human gene pool enormously.vegetariantaxidermy wrote:I'm shocked. I know Americans are so paranoid that after a few years there would only be about ten of them left.Obvious Leo wrote:From the perspective of a biologist this is an excellent suggestion because it would enhance the quality of the human gene pool enormously.vegetariantaxidermy wrote:I'm shocked. The US conquered its land by force, so its laws are not legitimate, and there's no moral obligation to keep them coherent.
That's a defensible argument!

All lands at some point were conquered by force, so what's your point, if you actually have one?xcosx wrote:The US conquered its land by force, so its laws are not legitimate, and there's no moral obligation to keep them coherent.

This sounds like a Native American argument.xcosx wrote:The US conquered its land by force, so its laws are not legitimate, and there's no moral obligation to keep them coherent.

I was hiking along the Feather River in the past and I saw some graffiti scratched on a USFS sigh:
"USA GET OUT OF NORTH AMERICA".
Now THAT was funny !!
