It is improper for the government to charge license fees of any kind.

How should society be organised, if at all?

I'm sure you'd be very happy together.
You'll have many happy days taking medication of chalk claiming to be vitamins or ibuprofen; getting run over by unlicensed drivers; or being treated by unlicensed doctors; and using cleaning products full of lead or pcbs. Enjoy those snacks full of germs and cakes made with motor oil.
You can trade stories on your collection of diseases and wounds caused by faulty domestic appliances , provided you don't get electrocuted because your house is wired by unlicensed electricians.

And just in case you forget: throw the baby out and keep the bathwater.

An intelligent conversation with HC is as elusive as the creator of the universe himself.

I seriously wonder about the intellect of someone who claims that nobody could make any safe decisions without the ever present regulations of the benevolent and omniscient government...oh, and somehow the people who can't make any of these decisions are supposed to oversee the government...

This guy's logic is so circular it would leave Archimedes in awe.
