No. I don't disagree with the definition if that is the definition. That is why I used Wikipedia.

...and if you want to fancy yourself as a libertarian, be my guest. It's your world.

In American English a libertarian is somebody who reckons he should be allowed to do whatever he bloody well likes and everybody else can go and get fucked.

There's a bit more to it (or less, depending on how you look at it). The only thing that really concerns them is that their precious taxes might be used to help those worse off. You never hear them complaining about the amount of tax money that goes on the military. You also never hear them complaining that in fact the very rich pay no taxes at all.

A LIbertarian is a parasite who demands that he do as he pleases whilst he reaps the benefits of the community which he scorns.

When you are lying in a ditch pissed on by other libertarians on a street that has not been maintained, with no street light, no police, and no one to move the shit away, you can praise the fact that although you have no security, nor prospect of a job, you are free to go and fuck yourself.

It's a very Aussie thing, Bob. In fact being a thief was once a condition of entry to my country but this requirement has been relaxed somewhat in recent years.
