I think the recent advances in technology moves the socialistic ideology forward by leaps & bounds.

The most disruptive technology in the world now - by far, is the disruptive technology associated with social media; Facebook, twitter, & ALL the other social networks and communities that exist today thanks to advances in social media through advances in technology.

.
I agree Bill, I don't play that, so called, "social media" game, that's actually meant to sell more product, either.

You live in a strange world were 40% is the entire world.
That is part of what I mean by disruptive.
I'n puzzled by this usage as who is it disrupting? As the oppressive nations control the system very closely.
I thank you and the entire PhilosophyNow Forum active membership for the respect and admiration that you have afforded to me. I am very thankful & humbled.
 'humbled'. You are a good example of what I talk about.
...I might also add, that you and I live in different countries yet we are able to come together, intelligently discuss philosophical topics at our leisure & we are still able to afford the widest sense of empathy to throughout all of humanity here at our computer terminal, wherever that may be. THAT is what I specifically mean by disruptive technology, in a positive perspective.
And yet what your 40% does in the main is shop, troll, gossip, self-publicise, watch porn and very rarely intelligently discuss philosophy or any subject for that matter.
A means to believe you're at the top, the creme de la creme. So predictable, and so in denial, mugger bait. Ha!

Now if that is - hot air, then I am guilty!
I take your point tho'

Oh Look! A fat man drowning, what a hoot!
The meaning in his gif inclusions, as you interpret, merely a reflection of what you're capable/incapable of understanding. The word simpleton comes to mind, as I read your take. Such that, you're the hoot!

My point entirely encapsulated.
Maybe less than you'd hoped.

I, I think you are missing the essence of my philosophical position.

That is not a slam on you. This is a very difficult point to fully grasp, especially for most of my philosophical mentees here at the PhilosophyNow Forums.

What I am stating is that the recent technological explosions of disruptive industry framework are moving mankind's' consciousness to more of a Case For Socialism.

The invisible hand of capitalism is being exposed more readily and actually the hand is being eliminated or attenuated to a large extent.

I think that it's common to believe that because you sense something, others surely can. Age does indeed have it's advantages, a life long list of experience. I can only hope that younger people start at a point greater than that of their elders, philosophically and psychologically, that is.

You think I use the internut as a means to believe this when I have a bit of paper that puts me in the 27% and another that puts me in the 7%.

 So tell me oh sage-speak, what meaning did you get from watching a fat man drowning?
Maybe less than you'd hoped.
No more no less.

Oh, did I leave the the word "relatively," out? To be understood, by all those other than the most daft. Your pitfall, not my intent!

Look Kim, it's not for me to educate you as to 'one' of the 'many' possibilities, that is for you to understand for yourself, before you go charging in as if your way of interpretation is the only way. That's all I aim to show you. The reason I frame you as I do is because you've shown me, for some time now, that it is your way. Your, 'the meaning of ones words is the response Kim gives' is conformation that my framing is correct, another example of your belief that you are superior in thought, above at least many of those that frequent this forum. It's only the case because you didn't understand how much of your self stroking ego was contained in that abridged version. It in no way represented the much longer version that you shared with me after being prodded. The longer version was very good indeed. But your shortened version was more to do with your self stroking ego than it was faithful to the long version.
Maybe less than you'd hoped.
No more no less.
That you continually seem oblivious to your failings is no surprise at all. Of course I shall always hope for your eventual edification, your 'relative' perfection. There, see how 'relative' changes things, take it out and read it. Among people, there can only ever be relativity, especially between those of different cultures. The real question is if one can understand the ins and outs of this relativity; the current state of the human condition.
