The quote that unambiguously states that we will have to rent everything from the governments. You referred to that as "their words" twice in one sentence in Jan, so you have the quote.
Getting from one to the other without a conspiracy theory to fill in the explanatory gap is not possible, but is what Mannie promised.

"Fact check: The World Economic Forum does not have a stated goal to have people own nothing by 2030"

If that is the one that Immanuel Can is referencing, it clearly doesn't say what he thinks it says:

No such thing was promised. No "rent" word was ever used by me. They're socialists (at least in regard to you...in regard to themselves, they're big believers in freedom of action). As such, they don't "rent." They dispense to the peasants only what they think the peasants need. And I gave you a quotations for "you will own nothing," and you ignored it.
So what you're saying is that I have not given you a quotation to prove the claim you made up. And you're right: it's not my job to prove your errors are not yours.

It was their misnomer, not mine. I was quoting them, as you can see from the brackets afterward, if you missed the quotation marks. But the term "rent" may not rightly apply to what they want to do...and I think it really doesn't...since you won't have any money independent of them, and can't "rent" anything since you will not have anything of your own.
I gave Flash the proof of that...that they want you to "own nothing, and be happy." (their phrase) I sent Flash the proof of the original, and now here's a different website with a comment on that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mD-ioJM8v64.
So you can't actually "rent." Rather, you have to wait around until they agree to GIVE you whatever they think you should get.
But here's them, abusing the word again: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kpz6K1sSIPY. That's their own promo video, as you can see

They want an end to private ownership, redistribution, and no private property...you literally get to "own nothing," (Their words.) and "rent" (their words again) from the government. This, they call "stakeholder capitalism." Except that it's got no element of capitalism in it, except what the elites themselves get to practice. They also get to keep their property, of course. Everyone else becomes totally government dependent. And this, they call "social justice" and "equity."
Of course, poverty, dependency are misery are very "equalizing."
And if the Davos jerks were interested in "redistributing" their own wealth, they'd already have done it, and be living at a normal level themselves. But they have not. Instead, they're jet-setting to Davos, and "making plans for Nigel."
But don't take my word for it: go read it for yourself.

Their words are THEIR words. My words are mine. I don't give account for theirs. I give account for mine.
And did you check the video? You're wrong again: there, you see them repeated use the misnomer "rent."
Checkmate.

Lol, you have no fucking shame.
You left out the "from the government" part. Proving that you cannot be trusted with any form of quote ever.
You never hd the quote to justify what you did write about renting everything from the government.

So now IC is bearing false witness too.
Jesus this guy makes me look like a saint, and that's not easy to do. the thing is, when a Christian as versed as IC commits a sin, it's especially offensive to God.
Like right now if IC and the Marquis de Sade walked up to the gates of heaven, I'd not be sure about which one to put my money on.
That's how bad IC's gotten in just the few months that I've known em.

You already don't have any money independent of a collective prepared to underwrite a currency. Money is a social contract, it doesn't work without agreement.Immanuel Can wrote: ↑Tue Oct 04, 2022 3:22 pmthe term "rent" may not rightly apply to what they want to do...and I think it really doesn't...since you won't have any money independent of them

"Can you rent everything you need in life?
Recent years have seen a massive growth in the rental economy
The first tool library opened in the 1970s in California
With more now popping up in cities around the world
These work much like a normal library
But you're borrowing much more than just books
At the Toronto Tool Library you can borrow anything from a wrench to a lawnmower
Or use a 3D printer or laser cutter
Saving you money and preventing waste in the process
Projects like London's Library of Things are changing the way we consume
The upshot is that you get the things you need and want with less debt and less waste
In 50 years, maybe we won't own anything?"
How on Earth do you turn that into a plot to strip us of our worldly possessions?

The WEF tends to arouse many levels of opposition. There are many good reasons for that. But opposition also evokes paranoia and projection.tillingborn wrote: ↑Wed Oct 05, 2022 7:11 amHow on Earth do you turn that into a plot to strip us of our worldly possessions?

Go and read what they say, and you'll know. They've now got...I think it's three...manifestos out, plus their website. And they all detail the same crazed ideology, in their own words. Why ask me, when the original source is available to you?tillingborn wrote: ↑Wed Oct 05, 2022 7:11 am How on Earth do you turn that into a plot to strip us of our worldly possessions?

Re: Trump Derangement Syndrome
Because you are the one warning of a "crazed ideology". I have taken your advice and read the manifesto published on the WEF website https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2019/12/ ... evolution/ and 'A Platform for Impact' https://www3.weforum.org/docs/WEF_Insti ... e_2019.pdf I do not see what is crazy about anything said in either of those two works. What, in your opinion, am I missing?Immanuel Can wrote: ↑Wed Oct 05, 2022 1:15 pmGo and read what they say, and you'll know. They've now got...I think it's three...manifestos out, plus their website. Re: Trump Derangement Syndrome
I can't think of a single economic idea that doesn't arouse many levels of opposition. As the piece details, the phrase 'You will own nothing. And you'll be happy' indeed "came directly from a video on the WEF’s own website and social media channels". The title of that video is "8 Predictions for the World in 2030". Predictions do not always come true, and I can't find any indication that this is on the WEF agenda. So yeah, people can rail against them, but while the "unelected globalists at the WEF" might influence policy, they have no power to set it.Alexis Jacobi wrote: ↑Wed Oct 05, 2022 12:12 pmThe WEF tends to arouse many levels of opposition.
