Whereas this isn't exactly philosophy, it still gives some nice, relatively easily digestible with a very good, funny, knowledgeable and active lecturer.
A lot of topics hot and valuable to know about in the philosophy of neuroscience is discussed. No chemistry, physics, biology or other high-school knowledge is necessary, though a good general understanding of molecules and basic concept understanding of genetics... something you learn in secondary school (at least in Norway), is necessary.
Lots of good research on evolution is carried out through the first couple of lectures, before things get escalatingly technical with genetics, endocrinology and neurology, before things turns into a study of sexual behaviour and aggression, furthering into a more social and psychological concept-understanding of humans, of course using a biological foundation to address these things. It is however not concretely addressing either sociology nor psychology, but much knowledge useful interdisciplinary is discussed, with lots of interesting and easily explained research.
