Is 'life' a human construct?

What is 'life'? What does the word 'life' mean? Is it separate from self-awareness and intelligence? What if rocks are self aware and highly intelligent? Does that mean they are 'alive'?

Even Rocks with only average intelligence and self awareness can be quite alive.

No, self awareness\intelligence appears to be dependent on it.

No. It means you have been smoking way to much ??

If a rock was self aware and highly intelligent then it must be THE most frustrated **** in the universe, without hands, mouth etc to express itself. (especially when I am camping and piss on it.)

ps. Strange from that I worked out you are a vegan.
