Cosmology - Cosmic Vacuum -CMBR
Can the Universe exist without Nothingness / Cosmic Vacuum?
What is the role of Cosmic Vacuum in the Universe?
The facts say: the universe as whole is Cosmic Vacuum that contains very few (about 5%) gravity-matter.
The critical mass-density in universe is 9.9 x 10^-30 g/cm^3.
According to the WMAP 2013 measurement the Cosmic Space is ''pretty flat'' to within 0,5%.
The Cosmic Vacuum is homogeneous, isotropic, flat, smooth and very cold and after one Cosmic horizon
there is another Cosmic horizon – similar one -- . . . and so, and so . . . to infinity (∞)
Cosmic vacuum is in the state of the lowest possible energy, but this energy is infinite (∞) .
The Cosmic energy-vacuum is filled with Einstein / Dirac's negative-virtual-dualistic-particles:
E= ± mc^2 and thanks to their fluctuations the Cosmic vacuum is in constant vibration on different levels.
Today the knowledge of Cosmic energy-vacuum is ignored by scientific academia,
even so the Universe cannot exist without the absolute and infinite Cosmic energy-vacuum
and its “bizarre and mysterious-dualistic-virtual-particles’’.
Thanks to the Cosmic energy-vacuum the Gravity world and life can exist.
Everything is in the Cosmic energy-vacuum and the Cosmic energy-vacuum is everywhere in everything
CMBR
All gravity-matter in the universe (as whole) is only about 5%.
This 5% of ordinary matter cannot be responsible for Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation.
Therefore, the CMBR (that spread all over the universe) must be an unknown source.
This an unknown source of CMBR can be an infinite Cosmic Vacuum itself
(the fluctuations of Dirac's virtual particles in the vacuum sea)

About Cosmic Vacuum
“‎In modern physics, there is no such thing as “nothing.” Even in a perfect vacuum, pairs of virtual particles are constantly being created and destroyed. The existence of these particles is no mathematical fiction. Though they cannot be directly observed, the effects they create are quite real. The assumption that they exist leads to predictions that have been confirmed by experiment to a high degree of accuracy.”
― Richard Morris

Although we are used to thinking of empty space as containing nothing at all, and therefore having zero energy, the quantum rules say that there is some uncertainty about this. Perhaps each tiny bit of the vacuum actually contains rather a lot of energy. If the vacuum contained enough energy, it could convert this into particles, in line with E-Mc^2.

The Cosmic Vacuum is still a terra incognita

if empty space was boiling, it would have heat

isn't heat the movement of particles?

that disagrees with empty...

Can the Universe exist without Nothingness / Cosmic Vacuum?
YES.
socrat44 wrote: Thu Jun 10, 2021 6:31 am What is the role of Cosmic Vacuum in the Universe?
To keep the Universe working the way that It does NOW.
socrat44 wrote: Thu Jun 10, 2021 6:31 am The facts say: the universe as whole is Cosmic Vacuum that contains very few (about 5%) gravity-matter.
'Facts' do NOT say ANY thing.

ONLY 'you', human beings, say 'things'.

Now, if there is a 'fact' about "the universe as whole is Cosmic Vacuum that contains very few (about 5%) gravity-matter", then WHERE is this 'fact', EXACTLY?

AGAIN, WHERE, EXACTLY, is this 'fact'?

Also, considering even you CLAIMED there are "cosmic horizons" "to infinity", HOW could there be a 'fact' that; "the universe as whole contains very few (about 5%) gravity-matter"?

This would, OBVIOUSLY, just HAVE TO BE the PRESUMPTION of some human being and NOT ACTUALLY a FACT, at all, correct?

If, as you CLAIMED above, 'cosmic vacuum' is 'Nothingness', then HOW could a 'source', known or unknown, be a 'cosmic vacuum' or a 'nothingness'?

HOW could a 'source' to some 'thing' be a no 'thing', itself?

"Though they cannot be directly observed, the effects they create are quite real. "

I know about vacuum enery adn virtual particals - and GM, and Relativevity e-mc2, so what are the "observable effects" these so called particals have to show they actually are?

space has heat - it is 3 degrees above abosolute zero - that is 3 degrees of heat.

Impenitent wrote: Fri Jun 11, 2021 4:10 pm isn't heat the movement of particles?
generally yes - heat for matter makes matter move more - for enery, les so - light moves 185k a second in a vaccumum regardles of that vacuums temerpature.

but all vacuums are above absolute zero - if siad vacumm were absolute zero maybe light would no longer have a velocity - who konws. obtainning ab zero is immpossible so we will never know.

that disagrees with empty...

Cosmology:
Einstein’s general relativity in plain English

How to understand Einstein’s equation for general relativity
Mathematically, it is a monster, but we can understand it in plain English

------------------------
1 - Gravitation in Newtonian terms:
everything in the universe that has a mass attracts other mass
2 - Gravitation in Einstein’s terms:
single gravity masses (as Sun's) change the flat surface of the cosmic vacuum
and therefore quanta light change their straight travel
(we observe curviature of the cosmic spacetime)
