Change cannot happen at now

How does science work? And what's all this about quantum mechanics?

No, that's not at all my point. I wouldn't say that there are "true moments in time" and I wouldn't say that there are "no events."
So what is a 'single' point in time to U? Is there an event at such a point?

A "single point in time" is an abstraction--a way to think about changes/motions, something that doesn't really consist of "points." It's handy for mathematically dealing with the phenomenon, but it's not the way the phenomenon (of change/motion) really obtains.

Get as abstract as U like, time is only a man-made construct pertaining to events.

Not my view. Time is change/motion. We didn't construct change/motion.

So - time is an event occurring yes?

It's changes/motions of anything. If that's the same as an "event occurring" to you (I'm not sure if you'd maybe have a narrower definition of an "event occurring"), then sure.

Oh, oui, I get VERY narrow, binarily in fact.

mmm, not much just either an event or not an event. The point at which our REAL_IT_Y is 'construed' ..

Wot?

Can change happen at NOW? ...sort of - either an event can occur or it doesn't - under the behest of the 3rd part intelligence behind the construct of REAL_IT_Y. :D

Changes happen now, yes (and obviously, in my view). Again, time doesn't consist of points. That's an abstraction re a way to conceptualize time that's handy for doing mathematics involving time, but it's not what time actually is.

..actually, mathematics does not pertain to time at the binary scale - mathematics can model reality that man perceives as time, but is limited to such abstraction.

Not sure what that has to do with my comment, but what is "time at the binary scale"?

..lol - wot time? That is precisely my point. EG TIME EMIT (reversed) until a photon emits from an electron - at that level - is there TIME?

(consider Zenos paradox)
