Effect of human activity on climate change is insignificant

How does science work? And what's all this about quantum mechanics?

Mans’ effect on climate change is insignificant.
This is the thread topic.

However,

Climate change’s effect on man is significant.
This is undisputed, but this is not the thread topic.

The effect of weather events, such as hurricanes, is also significant to man.
This is undisputed, but this is not the thread topic.

Although the hypocrisy is disappointing, it’s not surprising. That’s a real-life example of double-think. The rules don’t apply to the rule makers who live high on the hog while using boogy-man predictions as an excuse to control the diet and travel of the hoi palloi, along with controlling the rest of the economy.

That's precisely why so-called climate science is nothing more than an imprecise game of what-if, based on selective data (which is often corrupted)...
Walker, are you also a “flat-earther,” by any chance?

And by the way, my made-up quote:

“...nobody knew that global warming could be so complicated...”

...was simply meant to be a comical play on the following claim made by Trump, early in his presidency:
“...nobody knew that healthcare could be so complicated...” D. Trump
(https://youtu.be/5oQLf65N-AU)

And just in case you missed the point, literally EVERYONE (other than Trump) knew that healthcare is complicated, hence the naïve absurdity of the statement.

And the ultimate point is that if the leader of the free world is such an idiot when it comes to the obvious, then perhaps his (policy-affecting) attitude toward climate change being a “hoax,” might be a bit off-the-mark also.

Good gawd almighty, Walker, how in the world would any of this make someone a “racist bigot”?

...or is that indicated by your wishing of harm, via a weather event, upon a human being?
First of all, “if” the potential effects of global warming are indeed as bad as some have suggested...

(which, granted, is a debatable issue)

...then the sinking of “one” of Trump’s numerous properties beneath the waves of the Atlantic Ocean wouldn’t be caused by a weather “event.” No, it would be the result of a gradual melting of ice.

And secondly, in response to his assertions that “climate change is a hoax,” I felt that a cartoon of Trump sitting in a rowboat, floating above his “precioussssss” Mar-a-Lago, would be a pretty funny image. :D

In other words, it was (mostly ) just a JOKE,...

...so lighten up.

Lighten up at your next KKK roundup, seeds, while you're hysterically laughing at more of your own humour, and the pictures they conjure in your noggin:

Indulging seed's need to explain humour, the aforeposted scene is a nice allegory for the thread topic.

Pryor is John Q. Public.
The house seller is a typical Climate Change Scammer.
The house is the future.

Get it?

Aha. Aha.

It's good to point the finger at evil. However it's not true to say small frugal people are wrong because some of our allies are wrong.
It's true that power corrupts, but it's not a good enough reason to give up.

Each religion has specific, action-based observances to activate virtuous feelings in believers, and to signal virtue to others.

Often they involve dietary restrictions as a form of renunciation.

The belief-based religion of Climate Change is no exception.

Doing something to help to avert man- made climate change is not a religion. It's a practical response.

Ya know Henry, I'm no more of a climate scientist than you are; how can you be so confident? The thing is, I don't see that the overwhelming majority of scientists who claim that co2 is a greenhouse gas have anything like as much to gain as the fossil fuel companies - oil, coal and gas- have to gain by denying it. Kinda makes me suspicious. Not you?

Money-obsessed morons like Henry would rather have an (even bigger) profit for fossil fuel companies than a planet to live on.
Money is the ONE AND ONLY reason for global warming denial.

Why did they change their story? They used to deny it was happening at all. Now that's changed to 'It's happening, but it's not our fault'.
Well, if our situation has changed so drastically in such a short space of time that even those self-serving kunts realise that their first position was too absurd to continue with, then we must be in dire straits indeed.
It took them less than a decade to get around to paying their PR tossers to come up with a better story.
And is it any coincidence that (ironically) the worst of the 'unbelievers' are the biggest religious nuts? I think not.

Ignorance on parade.

Effect of human activity on climate change is insignificant, and cannot be proven otherwise.

I'm guessing you're not a scientist of any stripe, so I gotta ask, what makes you so certain?

The story is the same as it has ever been.

“Henny Penny, more commonly known in the United States as Chicken Little and sometimes as Chicken Licken, is a European folk tale with a moral in the form of a cumulative tale about a chicken who believes the world is coming to an end. The phrase "The sky is falling!" featured prominently in the story, and has passed into the English language as a common idiom indicating a hysterical or mistaken belief that disaster is imminent. Versions of the story go back more than 25 centuries;[1] it continues to be referred to in a variety of media.”

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henny_Penny

The deadline for the end of the world has been pushed back for centuries, and continues to be pushed back even now.

It's a damn shame that the hysteria has corrupted the integrity of science.

Because there is no proof.

I'm guessing you're a Chicken Little, and the proof is your unproven belief.

Prove it isn't. Why did you change your story? You do realise that global warming denial was started and continues to be funded by fossil fuel companies don't you?
