Does God answer prayers with yes?
Does God answer prayers with yes?
When a prayer comes true, the person who prayed thinks that the event is the result of his prayer. This may be true, but it could simply be a case of the post hoc fallacy. This fallacy states that if event B follows event A, then A necessarily caused B.

A prayer is a request. It is not a demand. It is not a technique of control. It is a plea.
Thus, it leaves up to the one being petitioned whether the answer should be "yes," "no," or "wait."
If it's not that, it's not a prayer at all.

prayer is a request to a power that is able to grant said request. now if you're talking about the God of Israel declared a Living God then how do you even know the request is heard? surely if its granted you would know that it was heard, so that you would know that it's of God. at least that's the case in most documented experiences with the Lord God of Israel.

That's because union's been on strike. He's down on his luck. It's tough. So tough.
