The Elephant In The Room
The Elephant In The Room
The elephant in the room is that, even if you reject Christianities crazy storyline, you need a Christ / antiChrist figure to settle obtuseness.

Re: The Elephant In The Room
Far from being the elephant in the room, that’s not even true. Imaginary creatures take up no space and only the lunatic fringe think they should be a topic of discussion.
Maybe you should explain what obtuseness you are concerned about and which you think can be settled by a notion of Christ/Anti-Christ?

Is it an imagined image you believe to exist for real outside of your own imageless consciousness? The image you mistakenly believe to be reality?
The point is, Christ / antiChrist are the same one non-entity, they both long for the same rapture, which is known as the death of I ------or so the story goes.
The death of I is alternatively known as the Apocalypse. It is a longing to die to the archetypal mental image that imagines itself as a creature living in time and space, alternatively known as that invisible character who is believed to occupy the vast incomprehensible, timeless limitless space that is always just the same one space anyway, as there is no other space that can exist here..as far as I can see.
The story of I occupying space is an artificial mental creation, a superimposed juxtaposed story believed to be reality.
The fact is, that which is imagined to exist within space, is made out of the exact same space it is imagined to appear in.
Dream on.
The anitChrist does it's job well, knowing full well that all it's hard work is rewarded when it finally returns to it's true source. Absolutely everything returns to it's true source eventually, because there is no other source but source itself. From source to source and endless spring.

I'm talking to you, ya doofus! Which of course, I immediately regret. What chance is there to "settle obtuseness" when "Obtuse" is your middle name?

You specifically said 'I'm not religious'. The rest is gibberish.Dontaskme wrote: ↑Mon Oct 25, 2021 10:25 amNo one ever claimed anything. Thanks for the title, I'll be sure to store that away in my archive with all the others.mickthinks wrote: ↑Mon Oct 25, 2021 11:09 amI'm talking to you, ya doofus! Which of course, I immediately regret. What chance is there to "settle obtuseness" when "Obtuse" is your middle name.

I would like the other person to be Jesus. Yeah, that's defo a no brainer.
I can't work out if you are a religious nut or not. Perhaps that's a good indicator of another person's level of insanity
I am not religious.
So bonkers then.

In other words you are a troll. If you were really like this in the 'real world' you would be in an institution.Dontaskme wrote: ↑Mon Oct 25, 2021 12:29 pmYep, absolutely everything I say, write, be, and do, is absolutely bonkers.vegetariantaxidermy wrote: ↑Mon Oct 25, 2021 11:59 amRe: Fantasy Island

Re: The Elephant In The Room
I've heard this title thrown around a lot lately, so yeah, it seems I am seen as a troll. Doesn't change anything about me, I'm still always going to be me.
Humanity is an institution. IMOvegetariantaxidermy wrote: ↑Mon Oct 25, 2021 10:03 pm If you were really like this in the 'real world' you would be in an institution.
It's not a crime to speak in nondual context on a forum. Which is what I do pretty much most of the time, since reality is nondual and I am not going to lie, I prefer to tell the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
In fact the whole milkyway galaxy is a prison. Humanity is trapped here forever. I've got a good video explaining how, if your interested.
The Star Trek idea was just another one of humanities fantasies.
