If he was, he could not neglect the needs of any of his three parts but address the needs of each without ignoring the other two.

The Father, Son and Holy Ghost seems to separate the three parts. In people that is not logical.

What is a soul to you, if not just our life force? If life force, why call it a soul?

The subconscious is concerned with the part of the mind of which one is not fully aware but which influences one's actions and feelings.

Perhaps, that is the soul.
We have one mind and one consciousness. To start dividing our minds into consciousness, subconsciousness, the idd, super consciousness and even more divisions is foolish. It becomes a never ending pass it on to some other part thinking.
