Is there a God? If so, what is She like?

There is no definition of god that is both compatible with common understandings and testable. Igtheism is the most sensible understanding of the topic, followed by atheism and agnosticism in order.

1) the very real concept of god cannot be sufficiently defined as to test it's reality, even if it is real
2) given that the Entire record of science is toward ensured causality, the work that the concept of god is needed for is ever decreasing, even if it is real
3) even though there are distinct limits on how much we can know or understand, there is literally no evidence of the existence of any immortal, immaterial, infinite, or omnipotent being, instantiated in any sense, or embodied in any sense, even if it is real.
