Re: Inverted Religion
Religion is a belief. It’s a concept known. That which is known can know nothing, because a concept is an objective thought within subjective awareness..Why are objective concepts devoid of knowledge of themselves?
How can an object, as such, prove the existence of Awareness or Consciousness? How can the limited prove the unlimited? Awareness or Consciousness is it’s own evidence. It knows itself by itself, not through any other agent.
Idol worshipping is synonymous to worshipping shadows.

Re: Inverted Religion
Agreed.
The following are also imagined beliefs, concepts, and idols:
any god
Jesus
religious leaders
religious affiliations
political leaders
political affiliations
religious or political superiority
race or territory superiority
These are envisioned and used by each (so inclined) person to serve themselves and their own needs and agendas. Not only might (so inclined) people worship and cater to their own imagination, they might divide and reject other natural parts of themselves and humanity.

Presence...ie: this immediate reality.. Is without doubt or error.
What or why is reality...is imagination.

Re: Inverted Religion
Form (limited, physical) and essence (unlimited, abstract, speed of vibration). Essence takes form mathematically, through laws governing essence taking form. Every speed of vibration has its relative form. Eight Hz has planet Earth.
2^3 = 8 Hz [frequency of planet Earth]
2^15 = 32,768 Hz [frequency of quartz crystal]
2^90 = 1,237,940,039,285,380,274,899,124,224 Hz [theoretical start of human conscious mind range]
10 * 2^90 = 12,379,400,392,853,802,748,991,242,240 [ theoretical start of Spiritual Consciousness range]
The human Spirit finds its relative form in the human body. God finds god. god the limited proves God the unlimited. The unworthy of worship points to the worthy of worship. Intuition -- "direct perception of truth independent of any reasoning process" or "immediate apprehension" -- is a wonderful thing. Why get bogged down in Reason? With Reason an atheist can't figure out if he's sitting in his chair.
Re: Inverted Religion
Theists also use reason and atheists also have intuition. What distorted story are you trying to concoct now... and for what purpose?

Very good. I agree.Luxin wrote: ↑Sat Jun 20, 2020 7:48 pmForm (limited, physical) and essence (unlimited, abstract, speed of vibration). Essence takes form mathematically, through laws governing essence taking form. Every speed of vibration has its relative form. Eight Hz has planet Earth.

As for getting bogged down with reason, for me, mental activity is all just a part of the god finding god game, namely, the game of lose and find.
When you win you lose and when you lose you win. 🥳
Re: Inverted Religion in bed with the mirage.
'' Your natural state has no relationship whatsoever with the religious states of
bliss, beatitude, and ecstasy; they lie within the field of experience.
Those who have led man on his search for religiousness throughout the centuries have
perhaps experienced those religious states. So can you. They are thought induced states of being and as they come, so do they go.
Krishna Consciousness, Buddha Consciousness, Christ Consciousness, or what have
you, are all trips in the wrong direction: they can never be grasped, contained,
much less given expression to, by any man. That beaten track will lead you
nowhere. There is no oasis situated yonder; you are stuck with the mirage. ''

Hello Dontaskme,
In your dismissal of "higher religious experience" you may unintentionally be suggesting that spiritual experiences are also dismissable. Religion and spirituality are quite different, but I understand why anyone would be inclined to dismiss them both.
The "religious states of bliss, beatitude, and ecstasy" you speak of suggest highly emotional, extreme or sensational states; I've always sensed the terms were pretentious or designed to impress; in any case I think many terms originating in the church could be safely disused.
Nothing to dismiss....all apparent dismissals are no thing dismissing no thing.
religious states of bliss, beatitude, ecstasy, highly emotional, extreme or sensational states are all just temporal fleeting appearances much like a mirage. Arising here now of no thing, felt and experienced by no one.
