Yep.

Dub,

Just one last question: Why are you a person?
Since you won't hang up the phone, I guess I have to :!:

Why can't or won't you answer the question?

I don't know is an acceptable answer to the question Why are you a person?

If you were to ask me the question, I'd tell you why I think I'm a person, and -- at the end of my explanation -- I'd tell you that ultimately I'm just just guessin', that I really don't know.

I'm not tryin' to trip you up, Dub; I'm not playin' a nasty game.

Really, I just wanna know why you think you're a person (even if the why is just guesswork).

Why? Have you been marked?

666

WHY 666 --- a standard national number plate - just a few doors from me.

xxx 007666 x (my mobile phone number) - a new mob issued after I was beaten with a baseball bat the morning of which I was told I was about to have bad luck that night. (by a sage)

God is a C~NT. (sometimes) :D

Since Dub signed off, I think what Dub wants to say is that personhood is form defined as function and physiology. For instance, a starfish is the wrong form for personhood. A human being is the correct form, as defined by function and physiology. In other words, form is more than appearances, form covers all aspects and life phases of the organism, which is why by definition a replicant can only be a replicant. But I might be wrong, about Dub wanting to say that.

I'm thinkin' Dub didn't actually have an answer (which is okay).
