- Hypothesis;
Dying for Breath triggers an existential crisis where one will do whatever it takes [even to the extent of 'evil' ] to get back one's breath.
DNA wise ALL humans has an inherent existential crisis - Mortality is a Certainty.
A God who can promise immortality is the most effective to relieve this existential crisis.
Theists will do whatever it takes to ensure there is no threat to such a relief of the existential crisis.
Thus Theism is analogical to "Dying for Breath".
This panic is an instinctual response, actually your physical self can still survive normally for another few minutes without air.
Your body will panic instinctively because it want to be more secure thus the need to get more air before the situation turn into an emergency.
This panic stricken state is the same where theists desperately cling to the idea of God to relieve an existential crisis. This is why I had stated this existential crisis is next to the impulse and drive for breathing to sustain survival.
The serious mature spiritualists understand the above and thus make it a point to develop their breathing more effectively to deal with the panic state thus able to hold their breath [control pause] longer, say > 60 seconds.
The art of effective breathing could also provide relief to the existential crisis that sent theists to cling to a God.
Clinging to a God has contributed to terrible evil and violent acts by SOME as a divine duty to please God to ensure and maintain the state of relief from an existential crisis.
Fool proofs non-theistic ideology with effective breathing techniques will be an effective non-violent approach to relieve the inherent unavoidable existential crisis.
The fundamental of Theism is Analogical to "Dying for Breath"
