What is Gods name?
In christianity they call God: God. Pretty straight.
In Islam they call God: The God. Al means The, and Lah means God. Al-Lah, The God.
But what's his real name?
Is it Elohim, Yahweh, Jehova or maybe even Shiva?
Did the jews invent him?

depends upon which God.
YHWH/Allah or Vishnu or Zeus or Mazda or /etc.......................
Jewish/christian/muslim's God-name is Yahwah (YHWH) - which is his personal name - never to be spoken aloud (to do so is a sin).

YHWH is not Vishnu's name of course - since he is another God - as is Zeus and many other Gods. none of which are named Yahwah.

since his forum is a Western one, and you are probably a westerner, then the name of your God is Yahwah (YHWH) - as I state above.
No Elohim is plural for "gods" - western ones (i.e. the Cananite Pantheon, Mot,Baal, and the other 5-7 gods now lost to history).
El is the singular personal name of God - just note that El is Baal's and Yahwah's father).
the above two reference the same God - the latter is a latin tranliteration of the former - so same as.
no, Shiva references another God outside of the Western god "El" and his Sons Baal, Mot, YHWH, etc........
"the destroyer of world".......I must confess not fully up on my Hinuism - but think maybe Shiva is Vishu's wife? - maybe? (any Hindus here? - welcome them educating me on their Gods).

but who knows. sometimes i fancy the concept that Baal is the true god of the universe and we all failed in salvation 2500 yrs ago when we turned our back upon Him.

sadly i can't buy her, being lower middleclass and knowing all about hypergamy - so single for life for me.

Dunno where the jews got their god and stories from, but I think they was inspired by Soranism.
Christians and Muslims both worship Bhaal/Lucifer which was cast down from heaven.

The only religious that take God's name to heart and for ourselves is ---- I am.
Modern Gnostic Christians name our God "I am", and yes, we do mean ourselves.
You are your controller. I am mine. You represent and present whatever mind picture you have of your God or ideal human, and so do I.
The name "I Am" you might see as meaning something like, --- I think I have grown up thanks to having forced my apotheosis through Gnosis and meditation.
In Gnostic Christianity, we follow the Christian tradition that lazy Christians have forgotten that they are to do. That is, become brethren to Jesus.
That is why some say that the only good Christian is a Gnostic Christian.
Here is the real way to salvation that Jesus taught.
Matthew 6:22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
Romans 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
