My mistake. If they were in a circle, the action of one goat eating another, and then another goat eating that one, would go on forever. Wouldn't that make it one goat just changing forms over and over again?

Again, this is a question of individuation; you are asking what which convention we should use, calling it, say, 100 goats, or one goat in 100 forms. Amounts to the same thing to me, but the important thing is it is all goats.

I just think that this would kind of get rid of the "singular vs. plural". No matter what the goat looks like or acts like, it is still "goat".

I agree some thing like 'The Philosophers Inn' or even have different kinds of venues from Philosophers Cafe to some version of sophisticated Club or Wine Bar with the emphasis firmly on the Socialising and making merry. :D
Rick Lewis how wonderful is the idea started by the initiating person and developed down here?

Nothing more ... at all ?
No more food even ?
One American yoga lady survived without eating for a whole year.
But she must have drunk some water.

There is a boy in South East Asia who many believe to be the reincarnation of Buddha, who has supposedly lasted for a stupendous amount of time without food or water.

Modern medicine says you can't go more than a month or so without food.

Seems to be a fair bit of agro around, and little humor. I suggest that it might help to have a section for off-topic and community threads; this is a common tactic to induce a feeling of belonging and ownership in members.

Well yes basically you just resurrected a 6 year old zombie thread, so it is of course by definition still here. ;)
