Re: A Review of Libertarianism

Sorry to be picky but Wanderinglands OP makes a clear damming claim about globalisation and his response to bobs logic about how both workers are relatively better off were not really answered. As it's well and good to raise the issue of low wages but low relative to what? As in the producing count...

Re: A Review of Libertarianism

Since you don't know anything about economics, let me give you a very simple lesson on why your views on globalization don't hold any water. If China can supply the U.S. with a product at an extremely low price that we can't competitively manufacture in the U.S., Chinese workers are better off, and...

Re: A Review of Libertarianism

An absolutely ridiculous statement not based on a single scintilla of fact. First of all, this discussion is solely and strictly based on Libertarianism, and so Globalization should not be discussed here, as it has nothing to do with this particular thread. However, if you'd like to show me some ev...

Re: Symbolism 3: The Horned One

I see pi? What is your point with all this symbolism? Are you determining if there is a conspiracy of man? or God? If so then answer my question. Whether or not it's a conspiracy or some proof of a God or something divine can be based upon further research into history, which includes looking into ...

A Review of Libertarianism

This is mainly just a review on Libertarianism, specifically the Austrian/American school of Libertarianism. Libertarianism is a vast political philosophy, and actually is adhered to those within both the Right and the Left spectrum of politics. There's Libertarian Socialism, Libertarian Communism, ...

Re: The Metaphysical Papers

P.S (for attofishpi)

Interesting you show a Pentagram with the musical notes added to it, as I do believe that music, because it plays a role in religions and cultures from around the world, is related to the Occult. It is because of this great relation that it should be explored further.

How does this symbol (of mine) rate with you?

That picture you are showing is the Pentagram, which contains the Golden Ratio (1.618...). It's the center; the All; Man; etc.

Pent = Five = Phi = Pi (3.14)

Catch my drift?

Re: The Metaphysical Papers

 Just trying to point out why the mods might have appended your post as the quote reads as tho' its going to be part of your metaphysical papers. Personally, I've read all about what you write back in the late 1970's and you have no thesis to speak of. Your stuff is pretty much the usual col...

Re: Aaron Swartz, R.I.P. - Former Internet Activist

One year ago today, Aaron Swartz committed suicide. He had been charged with committing thirteen felonies regarding stealing academic journal articles by computer. In the plea bargaining, the U.S. Attorney insisted that he plead to felonies (not any misdemeanor) and serve some time in incarceration...

Re: The Metaphysical Papers

It was probably this that did for you, "Symbols, as we get deeper into this topic, as well as getting deeper into "The Metaphysical Papers", are patterns within our unconscious mind". My friend, please research before rejecting what I'm saying. If you're going to say that I'm somehow a crazy person...

Symbolism 3: The Horned One

I'm just going to continue my "Symbolism" series on "The Metaphysical Papers" thread, since no one so far has replied to my complaint against "Symbolism" being attached to "The Metaphysical Papers". This part is on the study of simply the "Horned One" (ie. Baphomet or Satan comes to mind for many). ...

Re: Why there can't be peace in this era

Globalization in the domestic sphere is causing shipping of jobs overseas, importing too much of foreign goods (mainly China and elsewhere, where there's unjust sweatshops); both of which has contributed to unemployment in America. That statement alone indicates you have absolutely no understanding...
