Re: A LOGICAL ARGUMENT FOR THE CAUSE OF HUMANITY'S UNNATURAL BEHAVIOR.

Unfortunately it is the majority in a society that decides what is right or wrong in that society, but so far we have not found a better way. Sure we have, doc. We used to think morality was objective and didn't change with the whims of the majority. It's only nowadays that we think we're smarter t...

Re: A LOGICAL ARGUMENT FOR THE CAUSE OF HUMANITY'S UNNATURAL BEHAVIOR.

It is generally accepted that thought produces behavior. It follows that unnatural thought produces unnatural behavior. What is unnatural thought other than psychosis? Does this mean that the concept of extinction, or near extinction, of the species is psychotic? No, it is not unnatural to be wrong...

Re: All Knowledge is Assumption, Assumption is Knowledge

Knowledge implies a knower. There is no known knower....therefore all knowledge is a fictional idea. There is no knower of pain...there is awareness of pain by association ...but to claim pain is my pain is an assumption. Awareness makes no such claim or assumption...the claim is a fabricated menta...

So far IC sees a difference between the world of thought and the real world and Logik does not. I agree with IC on this point.

Re: Why do theists and atheists insist that if there is a God that it created the universe?

Creation of the universe is inherent in the word God. if God did not create the universe then it is not God. So if some phenomenon created the Multiverse, but another phenomenon created the Universe then: 1. The phenomenon which created the Universe is God. 2. The phenomenon which created the Multi...

Re: I'm back.

There is a saying "The first casualty of war is the truth.", well "the first casualty of a stay in the hospital is your modesty". No kidding. If those "gowns" don't do it, then something about the procedure will. Or they'll send you a young, pretty nurse or doctor to c...

Re: Free Discussion without random and vulgar Free-Speech

Free-speech and vulgarity are equal in importance, to use them in the same sentence is a contradiction in terms.

Re: Where does a priori knowledge come from?

"You should have known that". Many times I have been expected to know something that I had no experience or knowledge of. If you want someone to know something, tell them, the worst that can happen is that they already knew it.

The real question is what is "natural" or "unnatural" behavior for humans.

Re: I'm back.

I understand what the jeopardy was and I just said "Do it", I didn't hesitate once the situation was explained to me. Not much pain really, I was under for the cutting parts, and I was able to get Tylenol3 for the rest. Thanks. Well, thank God for Tylenol 3. The indignities and pains of a...

Re: I'm back.

I'm back, I've had quite an adventure. On Feb. 18th I was admitted to the hospital, on the 19th I was resuscitated and later the impella was installed, later the ecmo was installed since my heart wasn't strong enough for the impella. On Feb.27th I had open heart surgery to install the LVAD, on Mar....
