Re: The Case For Panpsychism
All being is rooted in "space" or "spatial properties". This includes consciousness itself. It is in these respects that with both the subjective and objective (or the axiom, for axioms are consciousness) finds its roots in space. Considering that space manifests all "being...

Re: Is this an example of Fascism?
I recall Guenon listed the three central doctrines as sophia perennis , the guru-initiate system and belief in in the kali yuga or past golden age. Evola names three features too, rejection of dialogue that moves towards a higher truth (because the highest truth is always here-now), traditionalism ...

Re: Is this an example of Fascism?
Because...? Because...? Surely that is for you to say. Rightist and leftists I'm discovering basically identify the same problems, environment, alienation, inequality, but differ in the larger narratives they place those problems into. As I deepen my reading into rightist philosophy I become more d...

Re: Obviously what we want is a lot more guns
The men that wrote that were British intellectuals. The people that read it now are morons from the world's foremost idiocracy. You can't expect them do understand subtlety. Folks have the right to bear arms, but not only for hunting foxes with the hounds, which is a rather bloodthirsty pastime fro...

Re: Obviously what we want is a lot more guns
That's exactly what it says with the phrase, "Shall not be infringed." With the constitution as the basis of legality, if one has the means, one can own a tank. ''A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people (not 'persons') to keep and ...

Re: Obviously what we want is a lot more guns
Oh please. The constitution doesn't even say that. In fact it's pretty difficult to decipher exactly WHAT it's saying. It certainly doesn't look to me like it's saying every individual can own as many guns as they want, plus, their definition of a gun is hardly comparable to the tools for mass murd...

Re: A Woman's Inner and Outer Beauty
A modern woman´s criteria may not be conceptualized yet. No two women are the same. The rest is just prejudice. Very old fashioned. I'm shocked. Don't you know there are no more individuals. People including women are categorized as parts of a collective. By definition those in the collective are t...

Re: Obviously what we want is a lot more guns
Given that folks in the US have a right to bear arms , and given that statistics reveal increased gun ownership correlates with a decrease in gun violence, then obviously the thread premise is correct, and more guns bring less trouble. https://www.facebook.com/684233818337530/photos/a.6843276316614...

Re: Bobby Ewing in the Shower
I didn't think the new Star Trek films were remakes. So not to boldly go where no man has been before. ' The wicker man' was just offensive and barely resembled the original. That erotic dance of Britt Ekland's, I didn't know whether to laugh or take a cold shower. In the event, I did both. I hope ...

Re: Bobby Ewing in the Shower
Not really remakes though. By 'remake' I mean when they are simply redoing the original (or claiming to) (and generally making a hash of it). Imagine Casablanca 'remade'. A great film is a lot more than just it's storyline. A remake the is the same story, same script is exactly what I said "un...

Re: The Case For Panpsychism
My argument in favour of pan-reactivity was clearly providing the reasoning for my rejection of panpsychism. There is no other logical way to interpret my post. Then we agree that pan-reactive could be applied to a completely non conscious world, cold, hard, with utterly deterministic and indiffere...

Re: Bobby Ewing in the Shower
Are any of them necessary? I find them all pointless. Some are more pointless than others. I'm sure some must be improvements. The Day of the Triffids TV series was way better than the film. And I think the new Star Trek films are worthwhile too. Not really remakes though. By 'remake' I mean when t...
