Re: Music
yes it would definitely be played down. Art brings out what a person is on the inside. When that happens, that person becomes completely unique. It's a lot harder to control a bunch of individuals than just a bunch of the same thing...

I think there's probably like 12 journalists in the world that take the responsibility of their job seriously. lol

Re: Music
That link is the reason I listen to nirvana, les claypool, what used to be the white stripes, tool, buck 65, and modest mouse. Anything that makes you feel, can be considered art. music, painting, kung fu, architecture, dance, etc. It makes you feel, because it is bringing you closer to that part of...

Re: TV Propaganda
you do make a good point. I think then I should rephrase. This was "attempted" propaganda. This interview was intended to be something but verbal craftsmanship did prevail. Though you do have to look at the fact that most people that watch a certain news group, you've seen fox news so you ...

Re: TV Propaganda
In this link, it is obvious that the news group is spouting propaganda. "Fox noise", "Sky", and the like are all about one sided arguments. If you watch fox news(noise), you will see nothing but reports of things that don't matter. When they do report on something important they ...

Re: Music
wow I've actually never payed any attention to the new ac/dc! good stuff fo sho! ;) Most would think that they have lost their touch, but I guess not, eh? ac/dc, nirvana, and Marilyn manson defined my idea of what rock and roll represents. I think it kinda means that we are all rock and roll stars i...

Re: TV Propaganda
Programmes program is a perfect way of putting it, probably the best word smithing I've heard all week. You also have a great point about capitalism. It is incapable of surviving on it's own like a living plant, it must wage war for it's existence. No matter what the system of thought is that we dec...

Re: Music
As far as musicianship, I'd say my favorite musician in the world is les claypool. He's a bassist that creates, of the top of his head in most cases, the most unique, rythmic, and enjoyable music I've ever heard. He plays with another musician named buckethead sometimes, who never shows his face, an...

Re: TV Propaganda
Children are undeveloped, unlearned, and naive by definition, but they are also untouched by social pretense and governmental propaganda. Today reminds me more and more the story "1984", or "a clockwork orange". Kids are so involved in superficial nonsense that they are so far aw...

Re: Music
search "masters of reality", little more of a metal sound, but they're not ear bleeding, they have a very tasteful sound. Also anyone who hasn't heard of "les claypool" needs to go to youtube right now, or anywhere where he/she can look for music and smother themselves in delicio...

Re: TV Propaganda
I'd like to throw in my one and a half cents on t.v., seeing as how it is one of my least favorite things in this world. I'm an american, and I'm sick of watching my country come home and smother it's own mind's eye in useless sitcom and sports rubbish. There's a song I like to quote that say's &quo...
