Re: Another Brick for a Wall...An origin of time and space

Goodbye Big Bang, Hello Hyper Black Hole: A New Theory on Universe's Creation That if it is true explains how you could have extra universe from a star and black hole. It doesn't explain when things has started. In the article they raised the points that this very thread is raising about the proble...

Re: Another Brick for a Wall...An origin of time and space

I think that everything should be explicable at the origin. I don't think that the origin is singular since singularity is inexplicable. The origin however should be unstable, therefore you don't need a mover. Now try to define, "unstable". Unstable: It is about to fall. This doesn't fit ...

Re: Another Brick for a Wall...An origin of time and space

I don't believe tiny blackholes are possible, How big is a black hole, actually? In its material expanse. How big is an average black hole, anyway? A "Black Hole" is just a description of the phenomena of an unseen object that is inferred by the kind of eclipse it makes on the background ...

Re: Dilemma of beginning of time

What would be relevant is if we assume an infinite past and a beginning to time, say T0. This just means that T0 + infinite past = now, which is equivalent to T0 = now - infinite past. So, where would be the problem? T0+infinity=infinity. You don't know. How could you possibly know? If it is a logi...

By the way, the link of those pictures has an interesting story on the some of this. ...and note the similar problems the astrophysicists see as the problems of the Big Bang theory. Here it is again: Goodbye Big Bang, Hello Hyper Black Hole: A New Theory on Universe's Creation So what are the limita...

Re: Einstein on the train

I do NOT care if the number is 1 or 1 trillion or anywhere in between. My point was and still is whatever number you, human beings, choose on THAT number does NOT mean that it is a 'fact', as I keep saying. So called "facts" like that one, keep changing. Those "facts" are NOT ac...

Re: Another Brick for a Wall...An origin of time and space

If at the side of the infinitely large, I asked if we could reach, observe, touch ... The Universe's Wall , this question is to whether we can have a time and spacial origin point, a Singularity? I think that everything should be explicable at the origin. I don't think that the origin is singular s...

Re: Einstein on the train

F = (Gm 1 m 2 )/d^2 (...) Now, while this precision is more correct, it is intimidating and unimportant to deal with the constants when one is learning the logic-side of the issue. So you aren't helping. That is the insignificant 'facts' that were muddling the issue Age was trying to express, as I ...

logik, we don't need to stay on Willy's thread for this. Let's give his thread a break. It's drifting way off topic.

Re: Einstein on the train

Ten, 10 would be expressed as 1.0 x 10¹. But is only 'precise' to 0.5. That is less precise. 18 m/s² would be just false of the definition of a gravitational field acceleration rate at sea level without using some other measure other than the "m" for meters and "s" for seconds. ...

Re: Dilemma of beginning of time

I'll be the Sun. You can be the moon. [ Aten ptah ra alla amun ra eve el atum ] The sol(id) spits out its rays upon the moon light that reflects it afterwards upon the fallen (ie man). Moon!? Is that you? Adding even more interpretations/metaphors to the ones we already have moves us further, not c...

Re: Einstein on the train

I think it is still relevant because even professional scientists more often than not lack the same means of communicating among each other with clarity. ALMOST all scientists. Computer scientists have figured out how communication works. How developing languages form nothing works. How building co...

Re: Dilemma of beginning of time

Agree but prefer to maintain infinity for further reference. Because "intractable" means "hard to control of deal with", the original word, "ineffable" was used. It means, "too great or extreme to express in words". And note the connections to religious origi...

Re: Einstein on the train

@ logik, Just read it. You aren't required to agree to the particulars. I disagree with the Big Bang as the 'best explanation' but Willy's book is really well illustrated, has humor, and brings together everything better than I've seen in a while....all presented in a nice compressed but understand...
