Re: Kierkegaard's Either/Or

AS, enticing creature, your initials stand for the ' Art of Seduction' !!

I will return to E/O just as soon as I can.
I only had a quick read of your post- Amazing Sensibility.

I do hope others join in.....

Later.

Re: Music

Aetixintro, thanks for that. Unreadable communication - 'a subtle movement is all it takes' - Perhaps. Nevertheless, the fantasy was shared in song and lyrics. A musical past of magic moments....when a touch or a look or sheer magnetism did the trick, or not.... Some like it explicit... i would like...

Re: Kierkegaard's Either/Or

AS, if you would write a book about your life, stories and thoughts, I would treasure it over that of Kirky's any day of the week.

Right now, I feel like I want to take a break from all of this. I know you understand.

in choosing a book...

Who do we listen to, if anyone, before we decide to read a book ? The power of words….and titles and reviews....Decisions, decisions, decisions…. Recently Launt ( in Aesthetics ) introduced me to ' Who’s Afraid of Conceptual Art ? ' by Peter Goldie and Elisabeth Schellekens. Both the title and Launt...

Re: DELIBERATION AND REASON by Richard Baron

Hi Richard I note you have a massive bibliography. What infuriates me....slightly.....is that I see Pirsig's ' Lila' mentioned, but how to find her....you have no Index !!! was that Deliberate ? Having said that - your book is exceptionally pleasing to the eye, and the Contents page spells out clear...

Re: DELIBERATION AND REASON by Richard Baron

Hello Tom, please tell us what new insights the book has given you so that the rest of us can share it vicariously. Not everyone can read everything. I read a huge volume on Philosophy of Language and Umberto Eco in Italian. I might contribute something later on, if I see an interesting connection....
