Re: Go to hell

I dont see God as being real. Theres nothing divine or ideal in nature.

My idea of an ideal God has no room in reality. Might as well be talking about santa.

Hell is imaginary too.

Im just imagining the ideas of god and heaven and hell.

Re: God is Real.

When the codon of an mRNA draws an anti codon from tRNA because of the ribosome, for the specific amino acid to build a functioning protein, that is a literal information system networking. The encoded message from the DNA gets decoded so that proteins can be made from the RNA copy. And everything k...

Re: Go to hell

I would make everyone live by the laws they create for other people. I would make everyone live without the laws they deny other people. Laws of being. Laws of living. Laws of defense. Laws of rights. I dont think hell would be a permanent place. Hell is for rehabilitation. Of course if there was a ...

Re: Just Accidental , Blind Mindless Incident

Natural selection is more like a logical program in nature. The creature itself can not form its own limbs. The environment determines the logical formation response. I reject god and do accept flawed design, and do accept agency as the creator of natural selection. Nature has inherent logic to it, ...

Re: Just Accidental , Blind Mindless Incident

You would have to consider the landscape of possibilities in our universe alone. Not what happened, but what could have been. I dont think we are near that kind of explanation about fine tuning. God is an undefineable entity. It could mean anything. I prefer the vitalist explanation that way. Safe t...

Re: Cutting God in Half

Any kind of intelligent agency to life has to be considered far less than a God. This agent would have weaknesses and vulnerabilities. This agent would have powers that are very vulnerable, and very much at the mercy of existence. Perhaps it would be an eternal being without form or body. Perhaps th...

Re: What is the difference between property and entity?

Consciousness is all the properties of experience. Entity would be the one having the experience. Nothing in these conversations touches on entity, or soul; the fact that a person is more than the experience, and has heart, and will as well. Scientists can learn all about the experience, and never a...

Re: Just Accidental , Blind Mindless Incident

Thought would be paralyzed and thoughtless without memory capacity. The two are synchronized. The capacity for thought might exist prior to memory, but without memory you are completely thoughtless. Why memories take on form and content may in fact be other dimensional. Or cells and atoms hol...

Re: Just Accidental , Blind Mindless Incident

Losing memory is losing thought. If I cease to exist someday, I'll be afraid of neither. I would miss both. I agree that there is no watchmaker present, but that doesn't mean one doesn't exist; it don't have to be human, just sentient. We could be an information program that takes input from the env...

Just Accidental , Blind Mindless Incident

Memory becomes, From memory knowledge, From knowledge awareness, From awareness reason, From reason understanding. Through the brain comes experience , so that we may learn a part of reality. My question is, how is this all a fluke and not carefully put together? Not to mention, the existence of qua...

Re: What goes into decision making?

Decision making is all about pros, and cons, tradeoffs, benefit, reward, and cost in terms. We are always making decisions whether we like it or not. Every alternative may or may not be considered. A decision is an investment. When you make a decision you are buying into its cause and effect. Your d...

Re: Basic questions of the moral life

If we studied each great quality of character, and list those virtues, you'd find about 100 of them. I study virtue; virtuology even. If mankind practiced to apply themselves to virtue the whole world would only prosper. Discretion, compassion, deserve, charity, honesty etc. I consider those virtues...

Re: Is Number a Causal Element?

So everything passes through a point of a field, 0d. And this 1d linear is relative motion to the point. A B C D and E are instantiations that together through the point constitute time elapsing. Perhaps I'm not understanding what you mean by dimensionality. How many total dimensions are there, and ...

Re: Is Number a Causal Element?

What about amorphous relationships and the rates of change in a given property of reality mathematically described? Are there synergies? Are there concepts in reality that don't have mathematical operators? Everybody has seen math problems that where there is one true logical answer, people mess up ...

Re: Religious lies. Why do we knowingly accept them?

They are addicted to alternative realities, even though it's just fantasy. They are addicted to having answers to every ultimate question. They want eternal life very badly, that they forsake objective reality. They insulate themselves from reality as it is. They desperately want significance. They ...
