Re: Consciousness IS - but it's NOT a ''Conscious Experience''

Let me ask this: Do you believe that there is no Universe out there with 100 billion Galaxies and 100 billion Star systems in each Galaxy and a dozen Planets orbiting each Star? I know nothing of what is being me right now. There is no knowledge of any thing without a word informing what I cannot k...

Re: Insane Denial Of Conscious Experience

If I could understand your Oneness concept will what you have just said make Sense or is this Poetry? When Oneness stops trying to understand itself only then does Oneness truly reveal it's real nature to itself, which is to reveal that no understanding was necessary. Words are crap, but what the h...

Re: Closing Imagined Explanatory Gaps

It seems that if there was only this One Consciousness then you would have access to things outside of you. You should have access to everything. Outside of you comes from Inside of you. Inside of you comes from Outside of you. You is a two way mirror reflecting yourself everywhere and nowhere as e...

I insist that I can Experience Sound without describing it with Words. In fact it is not true that you can even actually describe a Sound with Words. Describe the Experience of the Standard A Tone with Words. Steve, I'm talking about the actual 'Knower' of the experience of sound. I'm not talking a...

Re: Consciousness IS - but it's NOT a ''Conscious Experience''

Either you are the One Consciousness or I am the One Consciousness. This means that either you don't exist or I don't exist. Every I is the same One Consciousness. But how can ONE I be known? The one consciousness here cannot know without the same one consciousness there reflecting back upon itself...

Re: Insane Denial Of Conscious Experience

That the one source is having yes. From source to source an endless spring. . But if there is only one Source there can be no Source to Source anything. That's right, no source is the source of everything. And while all things can be negated, the source of all things which is everything cannot be n...

I know that I am the Redness when I see a Red Apple. On the other hand I know I am not an Apple when I see a Red Apple. There is no direct experience of the Red Apple..it's purely a concept known already couched within consciousness the only knowing there is. There is no direct experience of being ...

Re: Consciousness IS - but it's NOT a ''Conscious Experience''

But if you sincerely Understand that there is no external Universe to be understood, why would you ever go on the Quest. I don't understand anything except what I only think I know even though I don't really know who or what or why there is thinking, or what thought is. I don't deny there is an ext...

Because all known activity has one source...and that is the knower.

Re: Consciousness IS - but it's NOT a ''Conscious Experience''

But from your point of view then, since you don't think there is an independently existing Universe, you cannot have any fun on the Quest. I can if the desire is there. Intention is the rider of the will. Where there's a will there's a way. . But if you sincerely Understand that there is no externa...

The Explanatory Gaps that I talk about have nothing to do with words. The Explanatory Gap between Neural Activity and Conscious Activity is the most difficult problem in Brain Science that there is today. Explanations require words to make them known. Words are sound. What is sound ? Your theory or...

" Reality – that which we connote in our Western patriarchal culture when we speak of reality – is an explanatory assumption, an imagined domain of independent entities that we use in order to give universal validity to our explanations of our experiences." H. Maturana Difficult to dissec...
