that is the perfect def of evil.

You can do what you want but you form the consequences you will be judged by. yes, actions speak louder than words. agreed. If you think about it, the golden rule gives complete moral freedom while maintain morality as truly existing in itself. is that what you meant to say above? I'm dumb, i just ...

Re: Silence, Reflection and the Golden Rule
That golden rule provides the foundation for how we interact both with ourselves and other's and in these respects acts as a form of structuring both ourselves and other's by allowing us to do whatever we want. We are judged by the judgement's we apply, the structures we build are the structures th...

Re: Do Not Blame Muslims!
The first inherent problem with Islam is to claim that everyone is inherently Islamic in nature, and that they must all be brought back to Islam. Therein lies conflict. No other Abrahamic religion claims that sort of universality in nature. Sure, Christianity tries to 'save' non believers, but neve...

Re: Music
trivial note:
Fall of Eagles (TV mini-series of early 70's - and excellent too BTW)
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0207885/
used Prokofiev's 4th as music in that series.
2-cents.

my personal favorite Classical Work (nearly forgotten today - disparaged?) basically an expansion on The Prodigal Son works done earlier by the same composer. 1929 i think. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=10soAToOy4U i think because it has minor cords - makes it "disturbing" - along with &...
