All points of view as subjective are fallacious
One single point of view = subjective = false
Intersubjective consensus = objective = true

Therefore all collective or universal points of view cannot be fallacious
Or absolutely everything in science not falsified is automatically false

Re: Religion and Absolute Moral Values--The Ten Commandments, For Example

For morality to be absolute would require that every moral rule was truly independent of everything else That morality was universal to all regardless of history or culture or belief and could never be questioned Were this true then human beings could not advance as a moral species as morality would...

Re: Religion and Absolute Moral Values--The Ten Commandments, For Example

The first three require obedience to God so are therefore not applicable to me The next five I have no problem with long as they are not treated as absolutes The last two are thought crimes so therefore cannot be accepted on principle That is five that I agree with generally and five that I do not a...

Re: Albert Camus: The Myth of Sisyphus

There is a world of difference between accepting reality as it is and thinking that every imposition arises out of personal free will It cannot be free will if you have zero choice over the situation you are in as that is like a solipsist version of Stockholm Syndrome You accept the situation you ar...

Re: Albert Camus: The Myth of Sisyphus

Sisyphus had to roll the rock up the hill as punishment from the gods so doing it because he convinced himself he wanted to makes no sense
For had he the freedom to stop rolling the rock up the hill then he would have stopped doing so immediately so he is not actually free at all

If you want clarity with regard to this then just explain what this and then I can explain with absolute clarity in a very simple and easy way Explain with absolute clarity what the brain does and leaving no detail out while you do so so I fully understand Explain also what Mind is to you and why y...

Re: Reincarnation. Who or what would reincarnate? (explained)

if to you the mind is an emergent property of the brain but the brain can not do anything without the mind then how do you explain this obvious contradiction ? I would not say that there is a contradiction A brain can exist without mind but will not be able to function as it will be dead For mind i...

To create something is not the same as to emerge from something like what happens here

Re: Reincarnation. Who or what would reincarnate? (explained)

Do you still let stand the brain can not do anything without the mind but the mind is of the brain ? If yes then are you able to explain how this actually works ? Mind is the function of the brain so without it the brain is just matter and nothing else So when the brain dies then the mind ceases to...

Re: Reincarnation. Who or what would reincarnate? (explained)

So to you you can not see the mind . The mind is not organic . But the mind operates at physical levels as well as at psychological and philosophical levels . The mind ceases when the brain dies . The brain can not do anything without the mind . But the mind is of the brain . And the mind as a func...

And what is this mind thing exactly ? And how does it function exactly ? What happens to the mind when the brain dies ? Does the mind exist before the brain does ? Does the mind die ? And what does this mind thing look like exactly ? Mind as function of the brain is both conscious / sub conscious M...

Re: My novel:- Alpha Two

For me the only logical rule should be that you must be consistent otherwise it could look arbitrary and sloppy
So choose which ever one you prefer then stick to it religiously and a good proof reader should spot any errors
