Re: It's a sign of the times

Here's another one. With the rising stock markets, I expect the miniskirts to come back. 🇺🇲PhilX🇺🇲 When were miniskirts gone? but I think wearing miniskirts is more a matter of the age of the woman than it is related to the stock market. I didn't mean it that way. Why would the age of the woman mat...

Re: How does time work?

Einstein has not proved anything. He supposed (right) limited speed (~~c) of universe growth/condensation only. The existence of aether/ physical space he realised too late... He misunderstood “growth/crystalisation” of the universe, he interpreted it as obscure “expansion”:( Blimey Cerveny, you ar...

Re: Rule of thumb

What rule of thumb do you live by? There are many rules of thumb. One example is where for every ten miles per hour you drive, you keep one car length ahead of you (there's more to this). So what rule of thumb is your favorite? 🇺🇲PhilX🇺🇲 If I tried to do this on the south bridge during rush hour, s...

What would any of these people know about nature? they all live in the fantasy world of Hollywood. They read a script that someone else has written, Do they even know what they are reading? Who wrote the script and what is the writers agenda?

"Because it was there" - The reply the chicken gave to the proverbial question... -Imp I think a mountain climber also said this. 🇺🇲PhilX🇺🇲 I believe it was Edmund Hillary about Mt Everest as to why he climbed it. It was George Mallory and he said "Because it's there" about Mt Everest. He didn't ma...

Re: The finger

Still got issues lol! No, I'm alright. Day to day, you know? I was worried about you when I hadn't seen you post in a while. Glad you're alright. I suppose I'm getting too complacent about internet forums, I just don't find as much to get excited about and others are saying what I would say anyhow.

You can look at it but you can't sit on it.

Too bad, cuz I really liked that place.
So the dark side is closed, I would look in on occasion but there was little activity and then Liberty.grl closed it.

I have to say that the Brits don't stick their fingers up their ass. With their head stuck up their backside so much, there is no room for fingers.
Lol! Doc, how are you? I was going to send out a search party to your couch.
I'm good, how's my favorite Dalek?

Re: Is our universe Euclidean?

Euclidean geometry is a description of the Universe based on the observations that have been made. Math is descriptive rather than prescriptive. Math describes what is, math doesn't say how the Universe should be.

Re: Is science being divided?

Acceptance of Darwin's theory of evolution is a scientific fact, look it up if you need evidence and will accept it. Darwinism is BS made up by deniers to deny the evidence. Science is not divided as far as the theory of evolution, it is a scientific fact, the only argument is about the mechanism.

Re: What age are we in?

How about the "Age of Stupidity", I can't believe that so many stupid people were in charge. So, the Trump age? Trump is only the most recent in a long line of the 'best of the worst', I'd rather have Trump in charge than Killiry. I have often said that an election is choosing the best of the worst...
