Re: If God/Jesus does not know sex and reproduction, he is n

Things that we take in and accept at an intellectual level as passable certainly look a bit different and more realistic when using street language. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HwMyjKQ725E This just shows how God contradicts his own laws about sex. If you have a bible near you, you can look up al...

Re: If God/Jesus does not know sex and reproduction, he is n

No carnal desires, no wife, no pure born children, no chemical reaction in his brain, or sexual desire for a wife without reproduction being the reason. I thought the common claim was that Jesus was God in human form so what are you basing your assertions on that he had "no carnal desires" or "no c...

If God/Jesus does not know sex and reproduction, he is not f

If God/Jesus does not know sex and reproduction, he is not fit to dictate it’s laws. If God/Jesus, does not know of man’s sexuality, then he has no right or just claim to dictate our sexual conduct. He does not have the skill set or knowledge required to judge. No carnal desires, no wife, no pure bo...

Re: Do commandments and threats negate free will?

"Do commands and threats negate your idea of what free will is?" Not really. Using your same example, when children leave home, you said, you supposedly lost your right to imposse your standars on them. But that happens in the case when they leave your home. According to the Biblical teaching God i...

Christian men and their deteriorating moral and family value

Christian men and their deteriorating moral and family values. As a member of our predominantly Christian nation, you and I have witnessed a marked deterioration in morality and family values. Children start at an early age to sample the pleasures life offers them in the world of drugs, sex, autonom...

Re: Lilith or Eve? Female equality or not?

Any religion that promotes the idea of a masculine god will have the effect of women being lesser beings. Even if the practitioners do not intend for that to happen, it will. It's best to scrap all superstitious nonsense, and one of the reasons is there has been way too much sexism for far too long...

Found. The third and Final Testament.

Found. The third and Final Testament. The third and Final Testament is being written by Gnostic thinkers and the only truth that you can trust. The reason that you will trust it is simply because it is your truth based on your understanding of reality and largely based on your feelings. That is why ...

Yes I believe in evolution and wish to evolve those stuck in a 3,000 year old theology to a more modern view of what justice is. Do you have a problem with that or do you like the fact that men use the myth of Eve to deny women equality? Regards DL What do you mean by women being denied equality? C...

Re: God has all attributes including evil iniquity.

[ I see it more as a curse that we have to kill, cheat, betray, steal, in order to survive. Our fate has a striking resemblance to the notion of being expelled from paradise, which is probably why Genesis is such a powerful story. Interesting ideas though, definitely worth thinking about. Thanks. A...
