Re: God has all attributes including evil iniquity.

DL - A very good post indeed. Thanks. I only disagree with one statement:- "God created the attribute of iniquity and placed that capability in Satan." Not believing in bible God, I do not agree with myself on anything I wrote. I was just forming an argument. That is the dogma as I know it though. ...

Re: God has all attributes including evil iniquity.

Revelation 4:11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. I'm the only person on Earth who understands the book of Revelation , and it's got nothing to do with what you're talking about. Aren't y...

God has all attributes including evil iniquity.

God has all attributes including evil iniquity. Deuteronomy 32:4 He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he. Ezekiel 28:15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in ...

Re: Buying an Indulgence - Act of Faith?

I'm watching a Public Broadcasting System (PBS) special on Martin Luther. I have what might be a rather naive question or observation: If I'm a Catholic and I buy an indulgence (not even sure they're sold anymore) to be absolved of a sin (e.g.,shoplifting or extramarital sex), am I not, by paying t...

I do not recall putting one imaginary attribute ahead of another but regardless, I agree with your conclusion.

Re: God cannot know everything. Carnal love, reproduction or

How can we know that God is ineffable when we are also told he is unfathomable? If unfathomable, then it is impossible for us to know if he is ineffable or not. Regards DL Isn't it the other way round?? It's because he is ineffable that we are unable to describe him so as to make him fathomable. If...

Re: God cannot know everything. Carnal love, reproduction or

God cannot know everything. Carnal love, reproduction or sex. Believers are constantly saying impossible things of God. They make many definitive statement of God’s attribute while claiming that he is unfathomable, unknowable, immutable and works in mysterious ways. These are clear contradictions a...

Re: Who are more moral? Men or women?

I also question his conclusion that women are more moral than men. I've never heard of a man being referred to as "that fucking whore" or anything like it. That is because it is a given that the vast majority of men will bed anything that walks and are all whores at heart. Everyone already knows th...

Re: Who are more moral? Men or women?

Who are more moral? Men or women? I am not an atheist but am a man who, thanks to apotheosis, believes himself to have high morals. Perhaps even superior to women. I will take the Jewish view of Eden as man’s elevation as opposed to the Christian view that Eden was man’s fall. I do this because the...

True. What insight have you gleaned? What a generous invitation to let this ego run amok! Hahahaha!! I shall assume your's a sincere question, so I'll respond in kind. One gleefully gleaned 'gleaning'; All love is 'Self!' love! All judgment is 'Self!' judgment! All hate is 'Self!' hate! All knowled...
