You don't understand shit.

I was way ahead of you.

Re: Iceland wants to ban Internet porn

If you've got a question, I'll answer it, but I'm not going to waste my time looking at bogus videos à la Bill Wiltrack. Is this okay for children to view? http://video.xnxx.com/video1760469/violent_forced_sex Again, I'm not interested in looking at your stupid fucking videos. It is not the functio...

Re: New form of government

Why do you people always allow Boob to derail every single thread? I have to say I usually enjoy a discussion here, but all too often Boob gets in on the act and everyone piles in and ignores the topic. I've done that too, I admit. Well Boob is an easy target, if that is what you all want then go a ...

Re: The Atheist Movement Will Restore the Human Soul

I am insulted you call me immoral. I am not name calling anyone or calling anyone immoral. I have my opinions about morality and you have your opinions about morality. So since you do not know me don't make judgements on me by calling me immoral. I didn't call you immoral, so why are you calling me...

Re: psychology of Young Earth Creationists

After reading Darwins bate in my mouth garbage and 4-5 of Richard Dawkins books it came apparent to me Dawkins was hiding something (i knew he was lying as soon as i started reading his books). I found out what after watching interviews on youtube with the filthy snake for hours on end day after da...

Re: Should violent criminals be castrated?

The purpose of prison is to reform criminals, however this is not always possible. Many criminals repeatedly break the law and are undeterred by the prospect of punishment. There are several factors believed to contribute to criminal behavior, one important factor being high testosterone levels. It...

Re: epistemology and time

I am asking something different ---- how do I know it is me? It is an epistemological question. My example of the mirror image may not be a good one, but it did lead me into an epistemological enquiry (albeit brief) that followed. There are many problems in psychology to do with perception and reco...

Re: There is no such thing as knowing

It is true that categorization is partly dependent on culture, personality, etc. Science's job is to take all those factors into consideration. I don't think so. Science creates its own system - one that does not take those factors into consideration, but seeks to invent its own that works regardle...

Re: epistemology and time

assume you knew that you were looking in a mirror, and that in fact that image you saw was one of the most recognisable you know. Were that not the case I would have to conclude that you had damage to the fusiform area of your brain. No. Try it yourself. Recognition is not knowledge. I am asking ho...

Re: There is no such thing as knowing

1. Categorization should be based on what there actually exists in the world, including our own mentality. It is not the case that we can invent a label and then look for the content. I would be willing to bet that you are to blame for accepting categories based on invented labels just like everyon...

What do you mean by, it all depends on context all the best, rantal If I am sitting down writing a post. I still know how to ride a bike; I might know of a particular bike.
