Re: Poetry here.
Isn't rotten poetry the only kind being written these days? I i think so. not into poetry myself - but of the little i know, prefer the "old" stuff (Byron, Keats/etc...........) when rhyme was center (and a large vocab to find the words to make a rhyme). but I'm 200 yrs out of style ;-/. So, we'll ...

Re: Christianity's Immoral Foundation
Serendipper, you brilliantly showed by claiming that all sins are equal to each other, and by claiming that the bible is illogical, but believable, that you have a comprehension capacity of believing the logically impossible. I can't argue against that. If someone falls off a cliff, and the bible s...

Re: Christianity's Immoral Foundation
The christian perspective is that death is the result of sin; therefore there is no death until one sins clear and concise!!!!!!!!!!!!! and YES that is the Christian Dogma (Saul said such to BTW). ............. sadly if fails reason (even setting aside the proper understanding of original sin as a ...

Re: Christianity's Immoral Foundation
The relevance of this educational exercise was to show you how you erroneously rejected the actually true argument, which said, "Yet, the entire premise upon which Christianity depends upon is the barbaric idea that sin travels through blood lines." The premise of Christianity is that the sacrifice...

Re: Christianity's Immoral Foundation
BTW its fairly clear that Jesus was married to Mary Magelane, the church fathers did what that could to remove the gnostic works, but we now have some surviving works which show mary as front and center. the "water to wine" narative in mark? is an oblique reference to Jesus' own wedding to Mary BTW....

Re: Christianity's Immoral Foundation
Does God have potential to sin? I assume it depends upon the god. here are many. Why not? Does he have freewill? If so, why can't he sin? refer to the many gods on the matter, zeus, shiva, indra, etc. Did Jesus have potential to sin? per john - where He IS God - no. per Matt/Luke - not clear on tha...

Re: Christianity's Immoral Foundation
All women and children who died before Baptism went to hell, according to Christian mysticism, no matter how good, sinless lives they lived. um, no. sadly i was born after Christ - so that leaves me out of Salvation per Christian dogma, Christ went to hell (refer to 2nd Peter (I think?) during the ...

Re: What is wise?
I never said anything about my own existence. I exist, and if you do in fact exist, you exist too. You should care about the truth, in my opinion, to increase your efficiency and power. Though many believe it decreases their power, so they spread delusion everywhere to hide themselves, their fans, ...

Re: What is wise?
What is wise? Knowing not to read and reply to every pointless thread you see on this forum, and most forums in general. being a "cynical kewl" hipster ended with Garofalo's 40th. Since this topic seems slightly less vapid than most, (albeit this topic is quite lazy) I will give you the answer you ...
