Re: Youth Violence = Deprived OF Christian Values = Aggressive Secularism.

Technology has made a great quality of life for a lot of people. Because of this people begin to desire to have values. I dont see where Christianity means anything whatsoever. Through science, engineering, people see that civilization is precious, and life is worth living. Humans have graduated fro...

Re: Will Adolf Hitler Be Saved (End Up in Heaven)?

Interesting that someone could be redeemed by the purifying fires of hell. Hell is also the absence of goodness. Doing without Goodness is something to fear. I believe in universal salvation as being an effective punishment. I truly believe evil can be totally conquered in this way. Im imagining a c...

Re: The Most Important Thing You'll Ever Read.

To become truly just is to have the heart of justice, i agree with that. A conscience that cares for others as they deserve, for the benefit of all. To actually have the heart of that. While people who dont have such heart need rules and laws of prohibition , and they can never agree on what is mora...

Re: Is science only for the scientists?

I took an iq test from BMI. I scored a 120 , above 130 is gifted, 144 on up is highly gifted. I never had the opportunity to get a PhD. I have a rebellious attitude toward intellectuals, i find that people with exceptional memories though maybe not so intelligent can make quite a good living. Its mo...

Re: The origins of the universe

Did the universe have a beginning, or is it eternal itself? The latest science , i think says, eternal inflation had a beginning from possibly some eternal state in the past. You can google alan guth! And eternal inflation. I think your reasoning is coming toward the cosmological argument, of which ...

Re: Praised be the Lord, though we know not why

Is this an actual church? I sware we have nothing like this where i live. Sounds like wilton is trying to recover from bible upbringing with a giant sense of humor about it all. Methinks its therapy for people ingrained in the Christian upbringing. I would have gone to check it out myself geesh. I w...

Re: What good would money be in Heaven?

In heaven there is no lack, and no need to survive. Money would be useless since everybody in heaven would be out to help everybody else. Thats right, the number one priority in heaven is to help others no matter what. Fiercely loyal isnt it.

Has anyone proven that perception isnt actuality? The conception of reality is where one has to be as accurate as possible. Just sayin'

Re: Is hate good? Should we allow the censorship of hate speech?

I would rather people express themselves to their fullest extent, then to enforce laws against hate. Defamation of character, and not keeping the peace are the exceptions to the rule. One can express their hate peacefully, and honestly. There is hate with justified cause, and hate with no justificat...

Re: Is the concept of ''Atheist'' necessary, let alone real?

Perhaps atheism is the cause against God believing and God thinking. Atheists are passionate about debunking God arguments. While many believe no god exists to the point of absolute certainty, they dont wear it as a cause. Thats why Harris and Tyson dont like the label. Yet Tyson went 50/50 on the s...

Nor do i. And i dont know if anybody can even ask the right questions about it. Why is there constancy and unity or singleness of being? What is responsible for the loves, cares, hates, and ambivalences of the heart? Where does the heart reside? How many functions are there in being alive?, function...

Re: Does intelligent alien life exist?

Perhaps alien life tries to sprout up everywhere, but never anywhere does it happen but here. The universal cogs are broken, no. We are just preposterously fortunate that we transpired, maybe. How many latent powers does the universe have that will forever go undetected? Probably many unseen, undete...

Re: God or Man: the Source of Higher Values

Neither God or man is the source of higher values. There is no Great Beast, nor is there a God. Higher values are realized through the hearts desire for justice, and above that deserved compassion. If you have no such desire, than you will be blind to those values. Higher values rest in the heart mo...

Re: Go to hell

I dont see God as being real. Theres nothing divine or ideal in nature.

My idea of an ideal God has no room in reality. Might as well be talking about santa.

Hell is imaginary too.

Im just imagining the ideas of god and heaven and hell.
